Blue Christmas


I won't lie to you. This Christmas season, I feel awefully despirited. I have no motivation whatsoever in doing things I normally do during the Holidays. I did not decorate my house, inside and outside. I have not sent anyone any Christmas card, and I have not shopped either, and come to think that Christmas is just around the corner. I attended only our hospital Christmas Party last night, and the rest of the invitations, I declined. The weather is not too cold either, so it's not all about winter blues. I just don't have it anymore, and as a matter of fact, I want this year to go away quickly. Have you ever felt that some years are a lot better than others? I know, I am still blessed, but this year, I just feel emotionally, physically, and financially drained. I think I need a little "Pick Me Up" from my friends. There is no doubt, I have a BLUE CHRISTMAS...

I thank Jeanie (namelessfaceless) who sent me a private email in response to this blog...I know, until now, she has difficulty being visible here at FFF in terms of posts...But, with her permission, I'd like to quote what she wrote:

 aww c'mon elz, it's not like you at all. where's the playful, all-around girl who has a lot of friends? it may be because your baby is all grown up and living his own life that you feel neglected. find things you love to do and do it. sayang naman yung bonggang car mo if you are not going places. maybe a road trip with a friend will perk you up. my next blog might help. smile and take care.

Honey, sweetie, no matter how strong I seem to be, I do have my weak days, and this is one of them. Bonggacious car is still a baby in terms of mileage..barely made it to 15K mi. I have highway hypnosis...I couldn't drive more than 3 hours, otherwise, I'll be dead meat on the highways. Thanks, my dear.. Yeah, you are right. I am feeling neglected, and I have to be "adopted" by friends from other states in order for me to have a family. My female best friend is soooo busy with her double jobs and during her days off, she's busy babysitting her grand daughter...Besides, we are extremely opposite in our social lives..

I believe Dan is in CA...I did invite him during our Eye Ball in SFO this past August, but he didn't join us (Personal reasons, perhaps? )
