big, bold body tattoos...

every time some people say that big, bold body tattoos are art or pieces of art, i could not help but shrug my shoulder. if they are, how can't i make myself like them? or the least, accept them? how come many people find them bothering?

i love art. i love beautiful things. i love anything that's colorful---clear pictures or just plain abstract. they always fascinate me. they never fail to impress me. but big, bold body paintings? i don't know...

small tattoos are fine. they don't bother me at all especially when a shirt or a shorts can hide them. what i find disturbing are those pythons and dragons and other huge indecent tattoos that almost cover a guy's body, arms and legs in permanent ink. every time i see them, only one thing comes into my mind: ex-convict!

i would admit i'm prejudiced about it. it's just so surprising that though my concepts about tattoos are (purely) negative, there's still this part of me that says not all guys who have tattoos are mean and bad....that to judge them based on their body paintings is totally unfair! just like everybody out there who hardly struggle to find their place under the sun, i know these people have different reasons for having them... and i believe that as long as they don't "bully" or hurt me, the first and best thing i should do is respect them and mind my own business.

i have one question though that keeps me wondering. would ladies out there have a second thought of bringing a heavily tattooed guy home to mom and dad?

i chanced upon the tv show "stopped by the law" last nite. i had no intention of watching it but the naked driver (his lady passenger's naked, too) who was stopped by a police officer one midnight caught my interest...hehehe. anyway, the show's a regular one and it's all about drivers who are stopped for a very loud car stereo, speeding, swerving, driving with expired car plates and most of all, driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs.

i have previously heard a lot of stories about drunk drivers who had accidents. well, they were not just accidents. they were mostly fatal. honestly, i was not that bothered before. but last nite, when i saw the show...it frightened the whole of me!!! i guess i am more concern about it now because i am always out driving for myself...and while i do my best to drive as carefully as i can, there are these careless drunk drivers who don't care at all. they are out to kill someone like me.

oh, pls, guys and gals, have mercy! don't wait till you see heads rolling down the street. if you're drunk, get off the street and get some sleep!!!

i would be our town's first lady mayor...and my first project will be road improvement and/or construction. you see, the road from our place to the town proper was soooo bad. summer makes it sooooo dusty that face powder was free if one needs some. during rainy season, it was soooo muddy that one can put up a clay pot business---raw materials free! this is not an exaggeration... if one is pregnant, the unending bumps and holes would surely make her give birth prematurely!

to date, our road is a lot better from what it was 20-25 years ago. thanks to our hardworking officials who have been working really hard.... while making kickbacks!!! para nga naman di obvious...he he he

i would be a versatile actress (kapal muks he he he) and the whole philippines would see my face on their tv screens. i would use the screen names ALENA MARQUEZ or KRISTINA MARLETH or simply JASMIN. (do they have that \bsexo?\b starlet sound...he he he again)

i had no idea how did i come up with those screen names...lol... as we all know, i did not end up as an actress and people can't see my face on tv. my only consolation is that YOU and I can see my face on our computer monitors---thanks FFF (*_*)

i would be the prettiest and smartest multi-lingual flight stewardess and would fly internationally...

sadly, i didn't even make it as a baggage attendant...lol... but i am now my pilot-husband's first officer and radio operator.

btw, i was told by my family and neighbors before that one should be pretty, well proportioned and smart to be a flight stewardess. i didn't know why they said that. as far as i know, i am KIND...lol

...i used to dream about a lot of things. each day, my list would grow more and more as if i could easily realize them. i guess it's because dreaming is free. i was very young then...and i didn't know yet that time that unfulfilled dreams might lead one to disappointments. in my innocent, worry-free mind, to dream upon a falling star is one of the smartest, coolest things to do...

i've just discovered a new talent of mine that i never thought ever exists...lol

i had a minor right foot injury last month that i was not able to wear close shoes for 3 weeks. it was not bad but i had to limp a little for putting pressure on it makes me screamed "silently." expectedly, i had a (little) hard time driving. i had to take off my flip flops or slip on to prevent it from slipping between the brake and the accelerator.

i've tried driving barefooted before but i discouraged myself from doing it. (my instructor says it's a turn off but i thought of it more as a bad habit). but all these times that my right foot was injured, i enjoyed it when the tips of my toes alternately touched the cold metal brake and accelerator. i enjoyed it soooo much that now that my right foot is back to it's old, usual self, i still drive barefooted!

oh, yes! i don't feel like driving with my shoes on anymore. and i think i'm doing very fine...
