ACCEPT Life And Be HAPPY!!!

To find happiness, to find a bit of heaven on earth, you have to reconcile yourself to life, with your own life as it is now. You have to be satisfied with your job, with the people around you, including their faults and shortcomings. You have to be happy with your husband or wife even though by now you probably know that you have not married the ideal person, ideal people do not exist. You have to be satisfied with the limitations of your wallet, with your face that you have not chose yourself, with the circumstances of your life, even though your neighbor is doing better.
There are many difficulties inherent to life, to marriage, to education and growing up, to dealing with people and to carry out your job. These you have to accept without discussion, to face them courageously and with determination. For if you try to run away from them they will follow and seek you.Accept life the way it is. Through pains and troubles remain a cheerful person and do not let them embitter you. Indeed, accept life!!

Simple People!!!

Simple, ordinary, common people are often fantastic people, with more common sense and sound judgment in the tips of their fingers than many loudmouths in their whole body. They have enough common sense not to listen to or bother at all about the nonsense and the double-talks of politics and of the advertising world.
That`s the power of the unpretentious. That is the power of the powerless. They don't pay attention to bombast and rubbish. They are very patient and unbiased. Simple people are wonderful people. When you meet them, you are grateful for their insight in life, their wisdom, the joy and the calm they emanate. They are always ready when you need them, without waiting for gratitude or reward. Simple people make our world inhabitable and reconcile us with life.

We Have Only One Heart...

We are born with two eyes in front because we must not always look behind but see what lies ahead beyond ourselves.

We are born to have two ears... one left, one right, so we can hear both sides, collect both the compliments and the criticisms to see which is right.
We are born with a brain concealed in a skull, then no matter how poor we are we are still rich, for no one can steal what our brains contain.
We are born with two eyes, two ears, but one mouth for the mouth is a sharp weapon. It can hurt, flirt or kill.
We are born with one heart, deep in our ribs... it reminds us to appreciate, and to give love from deep within.
Remember our motto: TALK LESS, FEEL, LISTEN, AND SEE MORE.

On the day of a big annual sale, a huge queue had formed at the entrance to a department store. Some people had even camped out over-night for a good spot.
Just before opening time, a small man tried to push his way to the front of the line, only to be pushed back amid loud and colorful curses.
On the man's second attempt, he was punched in the jaw, knocked around bit and thrown to the back of the queue again.
As he readied himself for his third attempt, he told the person ahead of him: "If they hit me one more time, I'm not opening the store." [image )[image )[image )

I miss you in the morning dear, when all the world is new, I know the day can bring no joy, because it brings not you.... I miss the well-loved voice of you, your tender smiles for me, the charm of you, the joy of your unfailing sympathy.
I miss you in the noontime, dear, the crowded city street, seems but a desert now I walk, in solitude complete... I miss your hand beside my own, the light touch of your hand. The quick glean in the eyes of you, so sure to understand.
I miss you in the evening dear, when daylight fades away. my chores are through, 'been lonely through the day. I try to think I see you yet, there, where the firelight gleams, Weary at last I sleep and still, I miss you in my dreams.

GOD Smiled At Me Today!!!

I woke up this morning, after a night of heavy rains...the earth still fresh and raindrops caught in the cradle of each leaf were gleaming in the morning sunlight. It was a beautiful day! I stretched myself as I stepped out through the door to greet the lovely day. Good morning, sunshine! Good morning, world!
Sitting on the porch, at the onset of a glorious day, these thoughts came to me.....
There had been so many things to be thankful for.....things that I have overlooked. I complained too much...grumbled too often....I wanted to have this, and I wanted to have that..but wait...what have I given of myself? I always wanted to be listened to, but alas! have I listened to someone else? Have I said anything nice to someone who deserved a word of praise? I wanted to do this, and I wanted to do that...but did I, really? Perhaps, yes, but not without complaints....I did things, routinely, as I had to do them, because nobody else would, if I didn't, but rarely did, out of love. I grumbled about the thoughtlessness of others. I shrieked at other people's being inconsiderate...but have I been thoughtful enough to get out of my way, and help someone in need?
With these thoughts, I started back into the house, and promised myself, I'll try to do better today...I felt lighthearted, as I went back in for breakfast....coffee was brewing...I was thankful for the first cup. Oh, yes, I was thankful for the next one too, and I will be, for every cup that I'll be sipping after that.
It was a wonderful morning, and I knew...
.......GOD SMILED AT ME TODAY......

A passenger in a taxi leaned over to ask the driver a question and tapped him on the shoulder. The driver screamed, lost control of the cab, nearly hit a bus, drove up over the curb, and stopped just inches from a large plate glass window.
For a few moments everything was silent in the cab, and then the still shaking driver said, "I'm sorry, but you scared the daylights out of me." The frightened passenger apologized to the driver and said he didn't realize a mere tap on the shoulder could frighten him so much.
The driver replied, "No, no, I'm sorry, it's entirely my fault. Today is my first day driving a cab. I've been driving a hearse for the last 25 years."

I saw him walking in the sunlight.... smiling, waving...arms outstretched.. ...reaching... a promise of a new beginning.
a glow of light caught in his hair.. with sure and confident strides, I watched him approaching.... I was hoping....wishing....wanting..
my heartbeats raced...he was coming.. coming to sweep me off my feet... coming to my rescue....and for one moment, I closed my eyes..waiting..
my world stood still...my lips were parched, thirsting for a kiss... my whole being trembled in anticipation.. at last!!! it was the end of my longing...
....only to open my eyes, and there was but a faint shadow drifting off into the fading light...my arms still stretched out, in a welcoming gesture... my lips still parched, thirsting for a kiss...
hoping.....wishing....wanting....

One morning the husband returns after several hours of fishing and decides to take a nap.
Although not familiar with the lake, the wife decides to take the boat out. She motors out a short distance, anchors, and reads her book.
Along comes a fishing inspector in his boat. He pulls up along side the woman and say's, "Good morning, Ma'am. What are you doing?".
"Reading a book", she replies, (thinking, "isn`t that obvious?).
"Your in a restricted fishing area", the inspector informs her.
I'm sorry, officer, but i'm not fishing. I'm reading.
"Yes, but you have all the equipment. For all i know you could start fishing at any moment. I'll have to take you in and write you up".
"For reading a book". she replies.
"You are in a restricted fishing area", he informs her.
I'm sorry, officer, but i'm not fishing. I'm reading".
"Yes but you have all the equipment. For all i know you could start at any moment. I'll have to take you in and write you up".
"If you do that, I'll have to charge you with SEXUAL ASSAULT", say's the woman.
"But i haven't even touched you", say's the fishing inspector...
"Thats true, but you have all the equipment. for all i know you could start at any moment".
"HAVE A NICE DAY MA"AM",and he left.
"MORAL", Never argue with a woman who reads. It's likely she can also think.

Would You Do This???

One night as I was settling down to sleep, the rain pelting like mad outside the window, I heard a few teenagers outside my house. I am a very curious person I`m afraid, so had to have a little peek out to see what the laughter was about. God, if I was younger I would have been out there straight away. There was this big long fair streak of a body, naked as the day he was born, probably just 20, standing out in the rain with his clothes over his privates!!!!I never laughed so much for a long time. He couldn`t get into any of the houses and was running up and down to his friends houses in the rain. Eventually someone saved his dignity. I'd say he had a few beers on him. We'll say for the over 40`s and up ages, if someone offered you 1,000 dollars/euros/or pounds, to run up a well-lit street in the pouring rain, stark naked, in your birthday suit, would you do it for the money? You could wear your shoes but nothing else.? I'd really love to know who is as mad as me, because I would.
