98 degrees and it's hot, Hot, HOT!!!
and it feels like I am a boiling Sinigang in a pot
and my AC is not helping either
oh well, what can I say...that is Chicago weather
But I am not complaining though 'cuz I'm already used to it
I am from the Philippines na whole year round ay mainit 
We Filipinos only have two choices... the rain or the sun
unlike in here na mayroong 4 seasons
But I think I need a break
I'm heading down now to the Lake
better gear up my bike and get some cold water
lie down under the tree and read some newspaper (I mean Enquirer pala nyahahaha)

'cuz it's a no-smoking section, as I've been told
but the price of my yosi now cost me an arm and a leg

I have tried so hard
as if..it was my last card
but it was like, I am in a ward
and in the company of Morons, Imbeciles, and Retards
I have tried to go back into the system
but it only gave me more heartaches and pain
all my efforts went down the drain
oh well...nothing lose, nothing gain
I have tried to redeem myself
but trust is not offered on the shelf
you cannot imagine how have I felt
regrets, betrayed and the guilt
I have tried and I'm so darn tired
I've been had and I have been lied
with my both hands and legs hogtied
from those people whom I thought was on my side
but it's in God's word..."if my soul is parched and thirsty
and I feel weighed down by care
I can only go to God's Word for refreshment
and I'll find strength and comfort there"
so....I will keep on trying
and I will keep on believing
one day...it will changed everything
for me to continue on living
