yeah, i'll admit it, what we had was good . .
but when i think about all the tears,
late night calls that never came through,
and all the times you had me wondering
if you were staying true, i finally realize . .

Will we see the lights,
Will we hear the sirens?

Will we have such volumes of sound,
Echo throughout our ears?

While we follow our hearts,
And abandon our fears?

Because it will be
These days of our lives.

That we strive
To impact.

And impress
But we can't right now.

For all of this stress
They pour it on.

And never stop
Covering me fully.

Until I drop
I'll just shut up now.

But this is only the start,
I'll be back again.

Maybe tomorrow,
Maybe tonight.

For now I will instill in your heart,
The most shrilling sight.

You will picture me saying
Goodbye...

And goodnight..

I shall leave you
If I have to.
I shall forget you
If I have to.
I shall forgive you
If I have to.

But I shall not hate you
Even if I have to.
How can I hate you,
Whom I have loved so devotedly
And so unreservedly?

You Did'nt Even Know it

Like a rose wilting and dying,
so feels my heart.
You trampled the most fragile thing in my body,
and didn't even know it.

I thought you felt the same as me;
you smiled, touched my arm,
stood up for me.
My spirits were lifted.

This was the first time anyone did this,
and for a time I felt beautiful
because you made me.

I never wanted to leave your side;
I was afraid to lose you,
but then reality hit me -
you never felt the same,
I had been floating on a fake cloud.

You trampled my heart
and didn't even know it.

To LOVE at ALL

To love at all is to be vulnerable.
Love anything and your heart
will certainly be wrung and probably be broken.
If you want to make sure of keeping intact,
you must give your heart to no one,
not even an animal.
Wrap it carefully around with hobbies
and little luxuries;
avoid all entanglements;
lock it up safely
in the casket of your selfishness.
But in that casket --
safe, dark, motionless, airless--it will change.
It will not be broken;
it will become impenetrable,
irredeemable...
The only place outside heaven
where you can be perfectly safe
from all the dangers of love,
is hell.

Sitting here all on my own,
watching life go by,
taking in those dreadful words,
...a tear drops from my eye,
I stood there as i watched you run,
and waited for the pain,
love can be a painful thing,
you used my love in vain,
Why'd you leave me here to cry?,
our love had felt so...right,
why'd you go and break my heart,
just like you did that night,
let me kiss your lips once more,
so I can see it's true,
help me see your love is gone,
that I can't be with you,
don't leave me here to fall apart,
to watch you fade away,
tell me how you really feel,
and why you just won't stay,
I never thought I'd cry so much.

Asians are renowned for its exotic cuisine.
I dunno, but Asians are most likely
to cook a very tasty and delicious meal
from almost anything.
We tend not to be wasteful of our resources
so there are ways and means we come up with
to prepare zesty and exotic food.

to ASIANS: what are the exotic foods in your country
which you want WESTERNERS to try?
to WESTERNERS: are you willing to try
some exotic foods
which ASIANS cuisine can offer?

AT LAST

Saying goodbye is never easy
It's the hardest thing to do
But what hurts even more
Is not the chance to say it to you.

Yesterday is just a memory
Our laughter was sunny and bright
Then clouds started to gather
For you were no where in sight.

You were my first real love
And this I will never forget
How you left without a warning
No good-byes, my only regret.

Wherever I may be now
Always searching for another so true
To place my world of emotion
Handing my love to someone like you.

If again I must go there
And experience all the pain
I would do it in a minute
For all the good I would gain.

No matter what my wrongs
You offered only love
Until the day you left me
For your new home up above.

I know you still are with me
Your love is within my heart
Though life is no longer present
Our souls will never part.

This is given to you in honor
Of all that we did share
I just wanted you to know, dear,
How much I really did care.

The Year that Passed

How sad, the year just passed! A year the past
Arose like smoke from deep beneath the rubble,
Pouring up through fissures in the heart,
Perhaps our own as much as those of others.
Year of hatred writhing in raw pain,
Near mad with certainty arrayed in faith,
Each aggrieved alight with righteous anger,
Whirlwinds swirling through their swathes of rage.
Yet let us in the new year look for justice,
Ever the rock on which to live in peace,
Administered with love for every soul,
Regarding every evil as our own.

DAWNING of a NEW YEAR

Before you flip your calendar
To start a New Year bright,
Reflect for just a moment on
The year that ends tonight.

Each joy and every heartache
Has been etched into your heart,
But in a few short hours you
May make a brand new start.

As you review the days and weeks
That simply seemed to fly,
Would you say fortune smiled on you
Or did she pass you by?

Since it's not wise to dwell upon
Those days that made you cry,
The thing to do is set your sights
And aim right at the sky.

Forget those tears and sorrow
As you bid the old, "Adieu,"
And welcome in the New Year,
It's dawning ... just for you!
