Another day...

Went to the 7am mass and did more laundry at the laundromat for my mums clothes. And after bought them lechon and brocolli w/ shrimp, braised intestine which i thought was pig's ears. Anyways, they loved it. So, the rest of the afternoon just taking a nap. Awaken by this text on my cell from the love of my life. Which he says, "you can be happy w/o me and we live two different lives now". He never wanted to send forwards ever and was always on my case with that one. Promised to block me, etc. Except, today was one of those days i got stood up again. By this same person 3x already. I guess it was never written we should ever meet in this life time. So, felt in the dumps again. The sent text on my phone made me feel better. Really melowing out in this old years. Except that God truly sends angels to sooth your pain. So, am thankful. Life is still very beautiful and worth living. Gonna share this text with everyone...

Lucky tickets...

Today was a lovely day!!! Went to the laundromat to do some washing. After waited for my sonny and his friend to bring me to my company's 20th anniversary picnic. Thank God they waited for all the folks to get there. My sis and her family got lost and ended up going up the mountain. So, she called me up and gave me the heads up on not what to do. Luckily, we were not lost. We got there just in time to check in and food started serving the host told everyone. We got the usual picnic bbq and hot dogs and salads and bread. Everyone especially the kids were having fun playing with the parachute and potato saks and pulling the ropes. Then came the raffle tickets. My son won first, but that was his friends ticket, and then i won, which was my sonny's ticket, and then the last ticket which was mine won too. The president's wife said can't take twice. So, called Hector to get it. We all won $50 Safeway gift cards totaled $150. Those were really lucky for us the very first time. This has been one of the greatest blessings. We enjoyed petting the animals there and it was great. God bless everyone and enjoy and be filled with so much happiness!!!

Came upon this little book with full of quotes. "What you are is God's gift to you; what you make of yourself is your gift to God" by George Washington Carver.How many times do we feel inadequate about ourselves. When we are down in the dumps or has been heart broken. We feel so little and forlorn. Now if we have this attitude it's true we are Gods gift. How can we make it even greater for everyone? Sharing our time our whole being and making others happy...

Burnt biscuits....

Got this in the mail by two of my beautiful cousins. One is her birthday is tomorrow will turn 51yrs ol. Hope everyone enjoys the moral of this story. I for one has lived my life guilty of expecting someone to make me happy. All along is it's always been in my heart and mind. God bless everyone and spread the love around....
What a powerful moral to learn from.
When I was a kid, my mom every now and then liked to make breakfast food for
dinner. I remember one night in particular when she had made breakfast after
a long, hard day at work. On that evening so long ago, my mom placed a plate
of eggs, sausage and extremely burned biscuits in front of my dad. I
remember waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet all my dad did was reach for
his biscuit, smile at my mom and ask me how my day was at school. I don't
remember what I told him that night, but I do remember watching him smear
butter and jelly on that biscuit and eat every bite!
When I got up from the table that evening, I remember hearing my mom
apologize to my dad for burning the biscuits. And I'll never forget what he
said: "Honey, I love burned biscuits."
Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night and I asked him if he
really liked his biscuits burned. He wrapped me in his arms and said, "Your
Momma put in a hard day at work today and she's real tired. And besides - a
little burnt biscuit never hurt anyone!"
You know, life is full of imperfect things.....and imperfect people. I'm not
the best at hardly anything, and I forget birthdays and anniversaries just
like everyone else.
What I've learned over the years is that learning to accept each others
faults - and choosing to celebrate each others differences - is one of the
most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting
relationship.
And that's my prayer for you today. That you will learn to take the good,
the bad, and the ugly parts of your life and lay them at the feet of God.
Because in the end, He's the only One who will be able to give you a
relationship where a burnt biscuit isn't a deal-breaker!
We could extend this to any relationship. In fact, understanding is the base
of any relationship, be it a husband-wife or parent-child or friendship!
"Don't put the key to your happiness in someone else's pocket - keep it in
your own."

Driving home in this heat and listening to Earth Wind & Fire. Wow, you just wanna dance and groove. I miss dancing in those discos before. Now, they call it a club. My sonny took me to two gay clubs. Man, it was funny and so much fun in there. You're just dancing and here's someone behind me doing God knows what??? Then on stage this guy and girl dress in a teddy of some sort. Getting their kicks just dancing there. Wishing everyone a groovy weekend. Enjoy and love your honey. I know he loves me.....

Love to surf the net and you tube with this special song that touches the core of our soul. It's called Un amor/one love. Got the translation from another site(Lizardlady). This song is sung by the Gypsy King. It only talks and profess of one love. That eternal love for one being. Not multiple ones!!! Listen to it when got into Zumba(Volare). And this is th second song that hit me. The words and how this man has so much depth in his voice.

My favorite pastime is to just listen to music on you tube. And once in a while a song will grab me. Like this one sung by Paul Anka in 1971, but didn't do to well. And in his concert his daughter Anthea would sing beside him. I naturally love daughter and father singing together like Debbie Boone w/ her father, and another one Neil Sedaka w/ his daughter. Love is that special thing that sprout in our soul towards the one we love. Happy loving everyone...

Just heard this for the first time in "Showtime". Really good song when you're in the dumps. Acceptance of a broken relationships are hard to admit. The denial stage is gruesome. This song is sung by April Boy Regino. What were his parents thinking naming a boy April??? Must be on heavy weed at the time. Which brings me back remembering a japanese saying, "a man can fall 7 times, but he'd better stand on the 8". Ups and downs of life. We just gotta keep going...
