Here's one of my favorite. Rod really came into view by this song in the 70's. He was known for country ballads old folks song til he sang this song. Kinda opened up a lot of fans for him and the old fan didn't care much for disco and those left him. Seeing him sing this song and writhing on the floor at the time was kinda funny. The 70s

In life one faces forgiveness and love. Without having love in your heart there is no forgiveness. You carry with you that regret of ever knowing the person who brought so much heartache and bitterness. Going through life with never wanting to know another with the same attitude. But, how can you know for sure unless you have been with him for some time to really get to know the person motives and ill will. Growing up i loved all the people that were caring and supportive. But, one was so evil and was hiding and just buying her way from her religion. She would cursed others religion and make her's #1. No sense of gratitude to the ones that worked hard for her to come to America. Still now just remembering how can one really forgive? But, one really has a loving heart to bow down to that person. And it kinda made me realize the difference how LOVE often times move in mysterious ways....  ,,,,
