..(the phone rings)
P: " Hello!...what a surprise! you are actually calling me?"
E: " Well, I had this bad dream last night, and I was so scared, so I thought, I'd check on you."
P: " what bad dream?"
E: " Nothing! I just wanna convince myself that you're still there."
P: " What's wrong Baby?"
E: " Uhhmm! nothing really...I feel a lot better now, knowing that you're still around"
P: "Baby, you're freaking me out! what is it?"
E: "It's okay, I'm okay now."
P: "Well, it's okay for you, but I still don't get it..First, you don't usually initiate the call, so, there must be something that I need to know."
E: " Well, then, from now on, I'll initiate the call from time to time."
P: "Wow!...that's something new ha?..If that's the case, I think, you should have bad dreams all the time...hahahahaha!"
E: "You're crazy!...I dunno, I guess, I just want you to be there for me all the time."
P: "Baby, I do not want to make promises I cannot keep. I can only assure you that each day, I can only do the best that I can be..Tomorrow has no guarantee. And the same thing I expect from you. One day, you might decide not to be my special friend anymore.. and I don't wanna get hurt."
E: "I dunno, well, yeah, I guess..I know, I know.. but I just wanna tell you now how much I appreciate you."
P: " Wow! finally!"
E: " what do you mean finally? I always appreciate you!"
P: " Yeah, but you say it more meaningfully after a nightmare ha?"
E: " Liar, you!..that's not true!..Oh, okay, I gotta let you go now...this is not the usual time that we talk...I just wanna make sure, you're there...BYE!"
P: "Wait a minute, just like that?"
E: " Like that what?"
P: "Just BYE?"
E: "Duhhh!"
P: "Bye Baby!"

THE TRUE GEM STORY: My Version

Here's the story of 2 brothers who were searching for jewelries: They wanted to buy rings.
They both went to the auction and were amazed at the collections that were up for grabs and to the highest bidder. The older brother was so smitten by one precious item: the glittering DIAMOND, which was delicately displayed for everyone to see and desire. He had to have it!...So, he bid all his savings and won..
The younger brother went on, and found an antique GOLD that was left AS IS, WHERE IS...He saw it dusty, the box was torn, and was placed in one corner where no one would even notice. Outside the box, there was a note saying: " Bid, if you must. By the end of the auction, if there is no taker, see the auctioneer." His eyes kept on staring at the gold, and saw how beautiful and unique the design was, and the more he stared at it, the desire to have it grew more intense, and yet, no taker. Needless to say, by the end of the day, the auctioneer gave it to him for a minimal fee.
The elder brother mocked him for his choice, but he was unaffected. He went on, cleaned, and polished his unique possession for hours...Lo and behold!..He saw the beauty of the gem that was never foretold!
The following day, wearing their rings, both brothers went to each his own and worked. The elder one flaunted his precious gem for everyone to see and envy. Then, it was time to wash his hands at the lavatory, where he decided NOT to wet his ring and placed it on top, but he left in a hurry!...Minutes had passed until his discovery. He ran with all his might, but too late, someone took it away! Now, his life is full of misery.
The younger brother never removed the ring from his finger. He ate, worked, washed his hands, took a bath, slept and woke up with it, all the time. When it got dirty, he'd clean it again, and enjoy its beauty that no one ever cared to see!
WILL ANYONE PLEASE TELL ME THE Moral OF THE STORY?

..Why all of a sudden, I feel that I am being watched?, that I am being spied on, that I am under surveillance?
..I am not a threat to anyone, I am not as young and pretty, I don't have the powerful words that can conquer men's fantasies. I don't have the capability of attracting the rich and the elite...
..I am just an ordinary woman, simple and sometimes silly. What you see is the real me. I don't pretend to be someone I am not, so please, just don't sweat the small stuff.
..Believe in your heart, that I won't touch anything that is not mine, so calm your nerves, you'll just be fine. I promise you, I'll not be in your way. I am secure enough that my own gift of love is on its way.

If you are holding on to something that doesn't belong
to you and was
never intended for your life,
then you need to........

If you are holding on to past hurts and pains ......

If someone can't treat you right, love you back, and
see your worth.....

If you are holding on to some thoughts of evil and revenge......

If you are involved in a wrong relationship or addiction.....

If you are holding on to a job that no longer meets your needs or talents

If you have a bad attitude.........
LET IT GO!!!
If you keep judging others to make yourself feel better......
LET IT GO!!!
If you're stuck in the past and God is trying to take
you to a new level
in Him......
LET IT GO!!!
If you are struggling with the healing of a broken
relationship.......
LET IT GO!!!
If you keep trying to help someone who won't even try
to help themselves.....
LET IT GO!!!
If you're feeling depressed and stressed .........
LET IT GO!!!
If there is a particular situation that you are so
used to handling yourself
and God is saying
"take your hands off of it,"
then you need
to......
LET IT GO!!!
Let the past be the past. Forget the former things.
GOD is doing a
new thing for 2007!!!

*...You've been exchanging notes and posts, emails and all for quite sometime already...then, you decide to give out your phone number, address, and then, finally meet in person..
*...what would you do if things weren't the way you expect them to be?..
a) dump the person...never to communicate again.
b) give the person a second, perhaps the 3rd chance and wait for any sparks to fly...
c) pretend to be still friends and look for more prospects, but keep him/her on your "hotlist"
in case, there aren't too much of a good catch out there and get back to him/her.
d) just wait a lot longer for better luck.
e) give it a try just the same, hoping things will develop
f) quit online dating and go back to the real world!

THE BROKENHEARTED: Which one are you?

I'm sure, more than 90% of us, members of FFF, have our hearts broken maybe once, twice, or even more. There will be aftermaths of those painful experiences...I'd like to know how honestly you can relate yourself to the ff:
1. DOORS CLOSED (by choice):
You just don't feel that you'll ever want to be in a relationship again. You've closed that door and let the opportunities to be happy again came by w/o really giving it a chance.
2. DOORS WIDELY OPEN (too soon):
Your attitude is such that "easy come, easy go, easy to replace...no time is wasted." Life is short, might as well enjoy and have fun and never, ever look back..(Geesh! I wish I have that kind of attitude)
3. DOORS HALFWAY OPEN:
Yes,..No,...Maybe,...So,...Maybe I should, but no, I can't do it now, maybe later...Stop and Go kinda or Green and Red type of signals...In short, you just couldn't make up your mind..
4. SELF-BLAME:
You think and rethink that your past love failed mainly because of you, and you just can't get over that feeling?
5. S/HE IS TO BLAME:
It was her/his fault,...never yours,...Sadly, you can't get over that too!
6. PUNITIVE:
S/He hurt you so bad, you feel not only punishing her/him, but the next person/s who'd fall in love with you. Now, THIS IS REALLY UNFAIR! Just because somebody hurt you, doesn't mean you'll hurt innocent people in return.. You're not only depriving yourself to be happy again, but you're also denying the next person the chance to prove to you that s/he is different.
7. RISK TAKER:
You'll go to all extent just to fall in love and be happy again, no matter what it takes you to get there.
8. GUILTY:
You can't be in a relationship right now or anytime soon until your kids (from former relationship/s) give you the go-signal or when they are done in school...(whooaaahhh! at some point I felt this way too!)
AND MANY MORE reasons...Please tell me, where do you fit in?
