Intellectual satisfaction or just being contented in reading religious/spiritual/esoteric books without striving to practice what we read is nothing and useless.It is like reading a theoretical book on "How To Ride A Bicycle".Through and through we read it and even memorized it's contents.Even though we master this "how to book" it is still useless because we didn't strive to practice the art of bicycling in real life.
Most of us is like that.We are trap in a world full of information in our home bookselves,libraries and in the Internet.We are trap in the verses...pages...chapters of our favorite religious/spiritual/esoteric books which we read all our life.We didn't realize yet that we are trap in our mentality and even deluded ourselves in the illusion that we are save and liberated from sufferings by just reading...and reading more books and surfing the Internet.In fact,we didn't notice our mental indigestion or mental stagnation of overloading our mind of useless stuff.Some of us are even very proud of mastering the books we've read for so many years by memorization verse by verse.Some of us also even hold a public debate to publicly show our mastery...our familiarity and memorization of all the contents of a holy religious or spiritual book.And worst,some of us teach to the public our intellectual mastery verse by verse of a holy book and then call it "spiritual" or "religious".
Truly,I say to you my brothers and sisters that we could never experience the Summit of Reality or God without awakening the dormant divine force within us.The significance of awakening this sleeping sacred force within our coccyx is very important indeed in our precious life.Perfect health...happiness...joy...love and the intuitive knowing and understanding of the mysteries of Life itself are the greatest reward for those who discover and successfully awakened this special...mysterious...loving...divine force within us all.
Truly,I say to you,all past religious/spiritual founders have awakened and mastered in a lesser or greater degree the divine force within their coccyx.Moses,Shiva,Krishna,Buddha,Lao-Tzu,Jesus,Mohammad and many others had fully awakened their own God-giving divine force within their respective coccyx.
May all be awaken from our deep slumber
And shine forth the light and love we have deep within us all.

My Beloved

Yes my beloved...my soulmate.We can marry and built our own family just like all ordinary people my sweetheart.I can be the good father of our .I have a choice to live my life.I can go to the forrest,mountain or cave and other isolated places to be absorb in the blissful state of cosmic consciousness without eating and drinking for a long time.I could also choose to lead a normal life just like the rest of all humanity.To give them an example...a role model is my purpose in staying here in the crowd...that a spiritual person can live in the crowded city...working and then settle down... marry and have could also practice meditation,yoga or spirituality at the same time...not jeopardizing but synthesizing both worlds.Yes many spiritual folks live alone and away from the cities to avoid "temptation" and "contamination" but I would like to change all that narrow point of view on spirituality or religiosity.Truly I say to you my beloved,the difference between ordinary people and the genuine past,present and future spiritual masters/gurus/teachers/guides,sages,prophets and saints like Moses,Shiva,Buddha,Lao-Tzu,Jesus,Mohammad and many others ( Most of these great religious/spiritual founders were married before,during or after their great teachings ) is that the former's biocosmic or divine energy in the coccyx region is dormant and inactive while those of the latter are awakened and very active like the volcanoes.
May all be awaken from our deep slumber.

The Ultimate Human Experience

As human beings,our whole life revolves around eating,sleeping,mating,working,studying,playing and doing our hobbies and interests.Most of us don't know exactly how to meditate or pray and even oblivious of the great benefit of leading a meditative or prayerful life.Because of our modern busy life,it seems we don't have time to be mindful...to be aware of life's secrets and mysteries.
The fear of being alone and lonely motivate us to keep ourselves very busy.Even simply eating our food,we avoided the stillness and silence of beingness by watching television...listening to a radio or mp4 player while we chewing our food.It seems we lead our whole lives with constant entertainment and stimulation just to avoid being "alone" and "lonely" ?
This constant need...habit..compulsion to not let ourselves to be alone in stillness and beingness even for just a few minutes is the real reason why we failed to find permanent happiness...joy and enlightenment during our present lifetime...It is the reason why we couldn't experience the ultimate.We think that by avoiding the silence and stillness of being alone we will be happy by constant company with our friends in going to parties...drinking and smoking until the early morning hours.We know that having "fun" is not gonna give us permanent happiness.
Being alone...being on yourself in the silence of your own private room is a great step in the spiritual journey were experiencing permanent happiness is possible.Meditation and prayer should be done in a quiet atmosphere because silence is conducive to discovering our natural essential being....the original timeless spirit within ourselves.
To experience the Ultimate is :
To enlighten us.
To energizes us.
To awaken our human potentialities.
To activate our unique paranormal gifts.
To have a healthier younger- looking physical body.
To have a happy and blissful life.
To awaken our heart in loving unconditionally.
To realize that we're spirit or energy.
To finally unite our spirit with our Creator.

Many foolish people think that those people who meditate are boring...selfish and useless.Truly,I say to you,this is far from the truth.A meditative or prayerful person is harnessing consciously or unconsciously his/her most loving...powerful potential within his/her being.
In advance stages , extensive meditation or prayer can help us cope with the daily stress and tension in life.It can also help us keep healthy...energetic...happy..blissful...wise...and have an effect of not attaching us to life's dramas which is the cause of our suffering.In short,we can live in this busy world by non-attachment mode of our tranquil..peaceful mind.Busy but detached...no clinging...no worrying what tomorrow will be.In this way,our meditative..relaxed mind will not suffer from unexpected things in our life.
Meditation is a kind of process....a path.It is following a path of life that is worth treading for.This path is truly spiritual..religious without the trappings of human-made dogmas...doctrines and traditions.Meditation is a subtle work....it is not laziness.Meditation is an act of life...it is not idleness or inactivity.Meditation is a special process of discovering life's hidden precious gifts.The gifts of real love...bliss...happiness...joy from moment to moment which could not be describe in words or symbols.
Meditation is the way of the true brave warriors of life.It is the way to spiritual enlightenment...profound wisdom...light and truth.Meditation is like an open door to realities that will help us know and understand what the meaning of life really is....what to do best with our precious life.Meditation is a very effective means to wisely choose our most important decisions and actions in life.
Most of us are driven by our foolish irrational actions.Most of us like to change the world with the use of weapons of destruction.Actually,we are not changing it....but instead we are destroying the very world we live in.There is no wisdom in our barbaric...war driven actions.We are actually push by our irrational impulse of greed...selfishness...arrogance and lust for power which in the end are causing a lot of suffering in ourselves and to other fellow human beings.
In order to really...truly change the world...we have to transcend these inner weakenesses by meditation and prayer.This is the path for transformation....for growth...for finding the real meaning of our life.

The Power Within You

Don't you know that we are "energy"? Don't you know that we are "spirit"? Don't you know that we are not "a piece of meat".The ancient scientists called it spirit while the modern called it energy.It is the same thing...the same indestructible,invincible stuff we're made of.The more we manifest our spirit or energy harmoniously...the more we are powerful,happy,healthy,loving,vibrant,optimistic,vigorous,wise and enlightened.
Most of us have the superficial philosophy of life that says "To see is to believe".Well common sense tell us that this philosophy is not applicable to subtle things,like for example the air we breath.We couldn't see air but we know it exist.This philosophy then is partially true.It is much better then to profoundly say "To see,hear and feel is to believe",right? Now,we know that air can only be "felt" by it's blows on our hair and skin surface.The same thing with electricity.
We couldn't see electricity flowing in a live electric wire around our houses,cars,electrical cables,etc.But we can "feel" electricity when we accidentally touch an open live wire.The lightning we "see" during the thunderstorm and the spark in two opposite live electrical wires made by it's contact is light manifested by electricity or electrical power/force/energy.It is not the electricity itself which is invincible to the naked eyes.And the thunder we "hear" during a thunderstorm and the crackling of the sparks in two contacted live wires is the sound manifested by electricity.
Well,it is the same with our spirit,energy or force.We see,hear and feel the activated...awakened kundalini/mukalinda/shekhinah/sakina/holy spirit/chi/ki at the coccyx...in the base of our spine.Our spirit or energy behaves like electricity in our body.It manifested light and sound inside our body and can also be felt when it collided with other sub-atomic energies within our physical body.Our physical body can produce,store,conduct and transmit electricity (bio-electricity)
We can also absorb other raw or subtle energy sources from the sun and other cosmic energies through our seven major energy centers and then refined,recycled and then stored for future use.We can transmit and send energy with the help of our brain.The brain is like a control and regulator system of energies going in and out of our physical bodies.With a proper mind training,we can concentrate,focus and send energy anywhere.Bio-energy is not bound by time and space.Even a Farady cage or shield,concrete bunker deep in the mountains,caves or deep in the ocean can be penetrated by our bio-energy...spirit or force.
Nothing can stop our bio-energies from being transmitted or send.Our bio-energy or bio-electricity can be programmed to by ourselves to send blessings....healing and loving kind of energy or worse we can also send negative energy for cursing...hurting and killing.Everything is neutral.Bio-energy is like a kitchen knife.It can cut our vegetables and fruits but it can also be wrongly use for hurting and killing living beings like humans and animals.
So we need to apply love and wisdom when it comes to using our perpetual...neverending bio-energy supply properly to avoid the path to evil uses of this neutral formidable force within us all.We should have pure motives in our long journey to spiritual evolution.If our motives is revenge,then we can wreak havoc...do a lot of damage to our fellow human beings and also to animals,plants and even the whole world itself.Before imbarking for a spiritual initiation,we must learn to control ourself...we must learn to control our lower emotions like anger,hate,greed,jealousy,envy and lust for power before finally activating our kundalini,mukalinda,shekhinah,sakina,holy spirit,chi or ki.
This is why I don't openly teach and divulge the secrets on how to safely awaken/activate the bio-energy located in our coccyx.I am following the timeless...ancient rules of all spiritual masters like Moses,Shiva,Buddha,Lao-Tzu,Jesus, Mohammad and many other masters of wisdom,guardians and keepers of the most secret power of humankind.I only share this special God-given gift of spiritual initiation to a few good...law-abiding persons who prove to themselves that they will not abuse the power that wil be accesible to them after the spiritual initiation.There is an oath-taking that have to be uphold during the entire life of a spiritual aspirant.He/She should only use the power which is the activated kundalini/mukalinda/shekhinah/sakina/holy spirit/chi for the good of all humankind and animals alike.

Forever Happy and Enlightened

As very intelligent beings,we humans have the capability and potential to experience the most wonderful...blissful and enlightening experience in our whole life.Many curious minds may ask "How is this cosmic...divine experience brought about in the first place? Many of us have the common idea and expectations that by having or experiencing the following: big...fat bank accounts,hot...flashy sports car,exciting casual sex,expensive tasty foods,psychedelic drugs,intoxicating alcoholic drinks,smoking the finest cigars,playing extreme sports or haging out in the bars,pubs and casinos will bring us endless happiness.Despite all these seemingly endless worldly happiness we still couldn't understand why we're still unhappy and unsatisfied with our overall life.We know deep within that there is something missing in our life.We usually think that maybe our loneliness can be cured by indulging more on these worldly pastime and diversions.It seems we're running in an endless circle...we don't know the way out of these state of unhappiness in our life.Our minds are getting more attach on these temporary things which consequently bring more sufferings as we falsely believe that we will "finally" be happy.
If we made a extensive research and study in our history,we will find that the most happiest and enlightened people are those who meditate,contemplate or pray.Those people who are meditative,contemplative or prayerful are called saints,mystics,sages,prophets,wisemen,yogis/yoginis,sons or daughters of God or spiritual teacher,master,guru or guide in their lifetime or after leaving this physical world.They will be found in all countries and in all different kinds of religious traditions.Some of us modern humans may proudly say "So what's in it for me? I don't care about spirituality,religion,mysticism,holy persons and all that damn "otherworldly" stuff.I'm a practical person.My parents,friends and teachers and bosses told me that I'll be damn happy just by graduating in a reputable...exclusive school,having a professional job,sports interests,perfect mate and a family of my own".
Now,if we closely observe our human nature we will find that it is just a "mental programming".It is unfortunate that our parents,friends,teachers and company bosses are also mentally programmed themselves by their own parents,friends,teachers and bosses about the concept and ideal of attaining happiness.We must face the reality that our love ones didn't know everything.They didn't know the answer to our big questions in life,specially regarding happiness and enlightenment and how and where to find and attain these essential qualities in our life.
As we realize the futility of our search for permament happiness in our pastimes and diversions,we might finally ask the next important questions "How to meditate or pray effectively?" "Is it by closing our eyes...sitting in a yogic posture or in a knelling or prostrated position and imagine or visualize things about happiness?" No,it is not.We can be meditative,contemplative or prayerful even in any posture or position...with open or close eyes.Meditation,contemplation or prayer is an "art".Like other arts,we have to study and master it's techniques to be effective warriors of meditation,contemplation or prayer.
Many of you may not believe that meditation,contemplation or prayer is also a "science".It is subjectively verifiable and repetable scientific method to harness and master our physical and subtle body's electrical...quantum energies at the advance stage of practicing meditation,contemplation or prayer.In the advance level of spiritual development,the dormant...sleeping bio-cosmic force in the coccyx...at the base of our spine will be activated and release in order for us to possess a new...higher consciousness or mind that is not apparent in our ordinary waking consciousness or mind.This new...higher consciousness is vastly different from our day to day ordinary waking consciousness we used to have or possessed.This new...higher state or quality of consciousness are variously called in the the ancients as being "born again" by Jesus Christ or "enlightenement" by Gautama Buddha.This extraordinary new found consciousness is also accompanied by a blissful....joyful...happy state of being.
Some may protest and say "It is impossible"..."It must be a fiction"..."You may be dreaming,imagining,visualizing,hallucinating or worse,you're experiencing a psychoses or schizophrenia".
Since 1993,I've personally verified and repeated what the ancients told us about this possibility of manifesting and possessing new...higher... blissful... enlightened consciousness.
In the Gospel of Matthew 5:3-12...Jesus Christ said:
Blessed are those who are spiritually needy.
The kingdom of heaven belongs to them.
Blessed are those who are sad.
They will be comforted.
Blessed are those who are free of pride.
They will be given the earth.
Blessed are those who are hungry and thirsty for what is right.
They will be filled.
Blessed are those who show mercy.
They will be shown mercy.
Blessed are those whose hearts are pure.
They will see God.
Blessed are those who make peace.
They will be called sons of God.
Blessed are those who suffer for doing what is right.
The kingdom of heaven belongs to them.
Blessed are you when people make fun of you and hurt you because of me. You are also blessed when they tell all kinds of evil lies about you because of me.Be joyful and glad. Your reward in heaven is great. In the same way, people hurt the prophets who lived long ago.

God is a Universal Loving Energy

God is forever loving and forgiven.Even agnostics,skeptics,atheists and those sinners or with heavy karmas are unconditionally love by our God the Creator of all things.God is always given everyone a chance and signs to come back to His Kingdom which is within us all...in the very depth of our being...in our original nature ,that is spirit/universal energy.The past,present and future sages,saints,yogis,spiritual masters/gurus/guides are just humble slaves of God the Supreme Being of all...they are just humble instruments for change..for peace and harmony in our societies..their timeless message is the same in essence although express in their own unique ways and suitable in their own generation.Stone Age..Bronze Age..Iron Age..Middle Age..Industrial Age..Atomic Age...Space Age...Cyber Age..and so on..God didn't exhaust His human instruments for change..for the betterment of all..until ultimately all human spirits comes back to His glorious eternal Kingdom in Heaven.
The Great Cosmic Cycle of Pure Universal Energy into Matter and vice versa is what our universe/multiverse is made of.Sub-atomic particles,viruses,bacteria,insects,animals,humans,asteroids,moons,planets,stars,galaxies...all these are originally made by Pure Universal Energy or anciently called Spirit,God,Supreme Being or Creator...the Source of all.The Universal Energy were gradually in the process of cooling off...of congealing into Pure Matter.Of course,in the humankind category,the complete solidification process will take more thousands or millions of years.This is why,even at the present stage of this ongoing solidification process,our human physical bodies are getting weaker and easily get sick.Life becomes harder and harder.To compensate for this lack of energy,we humans built machines in order to help us move our way....to help us to feel "comfortable" so to speak.We now have elevators,escalators,walkalators,washing machines and other machines like, for example, robots to help us around and do our usual jobs.There is some danger in our dependence to machines.Our planet Earth's limited natural resources are at stake just for the sake of making ourselves "comfortable".The manufacturing plants are creating too much hazardous and poisonous chemicals that contaminate our rivers,lakes and the air we breath.Life must go on as some say.Some people have the opinion that we have to move forward...that we have to harness technology to survive.But is this really the surest path to our survival? Or is it the wrong path leading to humankind's eventual extinction? It is good to have vision and plan in advance...a precautionary measures to avoid this dreadful possibility.
One reasonable option to counter this natural solidification process of Nature that takes it's toll in our physical body's health and energy is to activate the reserved...dormant energy in the coccyx...at the base of our spine.It is like a microscopic or miniature bio-controlled nuclear fusion going on at the coccyx.Once activated,the release of enormous energy will be useful not only in our day to day life but also to our spiritual development.All aspects of our being,that is physical,sexual,emotional,mental and spiritual are greatly enhance...maximize so to speak because of the availability of this perpetual supply of free energy in our respective coccyxgeal energies.The senses of seeing,hearing,smell,taste and touch are all many times heighten too.Just hearing and listening to a beautiful piece of music will be like floating in the air because of the rapturous heighten delight in it.The optimism,zest and appreciation of life are now more apparent and greatly different than before the actual release of the dormant energy within us all.Everything becomes new...there is a sense of new-ness...of being enlightened or spiritual awakening...of being "born again"..of being transformed by this perpetual light emitted from the coccyx.The ancient sages,saints,yogis and spiritual masters called this energy or light originated at the coccyx as Kundalini,Mukalinda,Shekhinah,Sakina,Tao,Chi,Ki,Holy Spirit or Presence of God.

Our modern medical scientists have made an extensive research on Life by dissecting the dead physical bodies of insects,animals and humans to examine and study it's structure and properties.But all these useful medical endeavors are solely confined to the physical plane of existence.We don't really know yet what lies beneath the surface of blood,tissues and bones.We don't know yet of the subtle forces that composed a living being which we couldn't see,hear,smell or touch.We don't know yet what subtle forces that marvelously designed all living beings.Modern scientists observed harmony and order in all living systems.But the big question still remain unanswered...What profound intelligent force have designed all these living systems?
In all my humble writings ,i.e. notes or blogs,I 've always emphasized the universality of Truth...Wisdom and Light.There is no major religion in this world that have no Truth in it.Judaism,Hinduism,Buddhism,Taoism,Christianity and Islam.All these great religions had expounded the timeless unchanging Truth in their own respective spiritual/religious books.Some portion of the Truth had been for centuries hidden or still could not be understood by the masses because of the Truth's profoundness.Now,we will study the esoteric wisdom of Muhammad,the Prophet of Islam.
While many of you may be quite familiar with the Yogic concept of "Kundalini"...the coiled biocosmic energy in the coccyx...at the base of the spine.Very few persons,even Muslims inform about Prophet Muhammad's wisdom regarding the very significance of this small triangular bone at the base of the spine called coccyx.In Haddith books (the oral traditon of the Islamic Prophet Mohammad),
Sahih Bukhar,Volume 6, Book 60, Number 338:
Narrated by Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, “Between the two blowing of the trumpet there will be forty.” The people said, “O Abu Huraira! Forty days?” I refused to reply. They said, “Forty years?” I refused to reply and added: Everything of the human body will decay except the “coccyx bone (of the tail)” and from that bone Allah will reconstruct the whole body.
And In Sahih Bukhari,
Volume 6, Book 60, Number 457:
Narrated by Al‒Amash:
Abu Huraira said, “Allah’s Apostle said, ‘Between the two sounds of the trumpet, there will be forty.” Somebody asked Abu Huraira, “Forty days?” But he refused to reply. Then he asked, “Forty months?” He refused to reply. Then he asked, “Forty years?” Again, he refused to reply. Abu Huraira added. “Then (after this period) Allah will send water from the sky and then the dead bodies will grow like vegetation grows, There is nothing of the human body that does not decay except one bone; that is the “little bone at the end of the coccyx” of which the human body will be recreated on the Day of Resurrection.”
And lastly in Malik’s Muwatta,
Book 16, Number 16.16.49:
Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu’z Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “The earth eats all of the of Adam except the “coccyx”. He was created from it, and on it he is built.”
We could clearly read on these lines that Prophet Muhammad know very well about "Kundalini" or in the Quran, "Sakina"....Tranquility, Inner Peace or Stillness.Surah 48:4;48:18 and 9:40
In Quran,Surah 48:26 we could read:
When those who disbelieved had put into their hearts chauvinism-the chauvinism of the time of ignorance.But Allah sent down His "Sakina" upon His Messenger and upon the believers and imposed upon them the word of righteousness,and they were more deserving of it and worthy of it.And ever is Allah,of all things,Knowing.
It seems that "Sakina" also is related to the Hebrew "Shekhinah", the term for God’s presence in the world. The Shekhinah is commonly referred to as the indwelling feminine face of God manifest on Earth in matrimonial concord, which retreated in the Fall, and will return as scattered shards or 'sparks' in the final unveiling.
Kabah,or Sacred House/Mosque is known conspicuously as a symbol of Allah's religion.A Muslim pilgrim must do the symbolic ritual of "Tawaf" around the Kabah.He will symbolically encircle the Kabah seven times to complete the circuit which unmistakably corresponded to the Yogic concept of the seven chakras or major energy centers in human subtle body traversed successively seven times by the awakened Kundalini at the coccyx,in the base of the spine.Tawaf also correspond to the symbolic Buddha's body encircled seven times by the Mukalinda and also the symbolic scroll with seven seals that have to be open in the Book of Revelation.
Sakina,Shekhinah,Kundalini,Mukalinda,Holy Spirit or Tao are various names that referred to everyone's spiritual potential that lie dormant in our coccyx...the most important bone in our body although medical doctors and scientists knew nothing yet about the significance of this small bone called coccyx.It is high time for everybody to prepare for this life's ultimate journey for spiritual transformation,restoration,renewal,rebirth or resurrection.
No matter what our religion is...the important thing is to realize that "the essence of all religion is the same".It is very unfortunate that some misguided Muslims have misinterpreted the teachings of Prophet Muhammad.They defaced and consequently tarnished the good spiritual image of Islam by fasely believing that "Jihad" is an external striving or fighting for the cause of Allah.Actually,this is not the case.The merciful and forgiven Allah and His Messenger,Prophet Muhammad meant that "Jihad" is an inner striving or fighting...a struggle of our inner human weaknesses,that is arrogance,jealousy,envy,hatefulness,greed and many other negative or "evil" inner human weaknesses.The effective fight for this lifetime inner struggle is by solemnly doing our "salah" or prayer or meditation and constanly learning to control our lower emotions thereby knowing ourselves as true servants of Allah which variously called in other religions as Yahweh,Jehovah,Braman or Father.Salaam.

Mukalinda Unveiled:The Secret of Gautama the Buddha

Most people love to what they see and consequently got attached to it.In order to commemorate their spiritual founders/leaders ,religious people erected temples,churches and mosques which is made of stone,wood and metal to make a place for pilgrimage and worship.As we can see, many sacred sites have been considered the navel of the earth by different religious traditions. The ancient Greeks regarded the egg shaped stone in the oracle chamber of Apollo's shrine at Delphi as omphalos or the navel stone. In other traditions, mountains are considered the sacred centres of the earth. While the Old Testament speaks of Mount Gerizim in Palestine as the navel of the earth, the Hindus, Buddhists and Jains consider the Mount Kailash in Tibet as the centre of the cosmos. In the Semitic world we have an interesting parallel to compare with. The Temple Mount in Jerusalem is regarded the axis of the world by Jews, Christians and Muslims.
Bearing in mind the historical and archeological importance of these places,there is no harm to make a tourist visit to our religious founder's place of birth,crucifiction,enlightenment or ascension to heaven.The important thing is we don't have to worship at these places.Most religious people don't know that the "real" place of worship and pilgrimage....the ultimate and "real" temple,church or mosque is within themselves.Moses,Buddha,Lao-Tzu,Jesus, Mohammad and many other sages,saints and spiritual teachers didn't teach us to worship things that are visible to our naked eyes.What they taught us is to go back to our "original essential being"....the "living God"...the "temple of God" which is within each of us by meditative,prayerful or contemplative life.
One of our greatest religious/spiritual teacher is Gautama the Buddha.Also known as Shakyamuni and Siddharta.Many people made a pilgrimage to the place...the Bodhi tree where Siddharta sat under in meditation and attained the Enlightenment and become the Buddha,the Awakened one.It was 8th of December,when he was 35 years of age that the former prince became Buddha.But most people,especially the Buddhists didn't know the real factor and significance of his attaining Enligtenment.It is the Mukalinda,the name of a Naga (a snake-like being), who protected the Buddha from the elements after his enlightenment.
Here is the account of the Buddha under the Mukalinda tree:
Then the Blessed One, at the end of those seven days, arose from that state of meditation, and went from the foot of the Agapâla banyan tree to the Mukalinda tree. And when he had reached it, he sat cross-legged at the foot of the Mukalinda tree uninterruptedly during seven days, enjoying the bliss of emancipation.
At that time a great cloud appeared out of season, rainy weather which lasted seven days, cold weather, storms, and darkness. And the Nâga (or Serpent) king Mukalinda came out from his abode, and seven times encircled the body of the Blessed One with his windings, and kept extending his large hood over the Blessed One's head, thinking to himself: 'May no coldness (touch) the Blessed One! May no heat (touch) the Blessed One! May no vexation by gadflies and gnats, by storms and sunheat and reptiles (touch) the Blessed One!'
And at the end of those seven days, when the Naga king Mukalinda saw the open, cloudless sky, he loosened his windings from the body of the Blessed One, made his own appearance disappear, created the appearance of a youth, and stationed himself in front of the Blessed One, raising his clasped hands, and paying reverence to the Blessed One.
And the Blessed One, perceiving that, on this occasion, pronounced this solemn utterance: 'Happy is the solitude of him who is full of joy, who has learnt the Truth, who sees (the Truth). Happy is freedom from malice in this world, (self-)restraint towards all beings that have life. Happy is freedom from lust in this world, getting beyond all desires; the putting away of that pride which comes from the thought "I am!" This truly is the highest happiness!

This highly symbolic story of Gautama the Buddha have a hidden truth in it...a secret teaching that few, if ever discovered.I discovered it's significant meaning after I attained enlightenment when I was 23 years old in the afternoon of September 1993.When we rearrange the letters of "mukalinda" minus the letter "m" and "a",we get the word "kundali".By decoding the word "mukalinda",we discover it's intimate connection with the word "kundalini" ,in Sanskrit literally means "coiled". In Yoga, it is a "corporeal energy"- an unconscious, instinctive or libidinal force or Shakti, envisioned either as a Goddess or else as a sleeping serpent coiled at the base of the spine. Kundalini is considered a part of the subtle body along with seven major chakras (energy centres) and nadis (channels).
When Kundalini (Mukalinda,Shekhinah,Sakina,Tao,Holy Spirit or Presence of God ) at the base of the spine is conceived as a Goddess, then, when it rises to the top of the head, it unites itself with God/Creator/Supreme Being (Ein Sof,Yahweh,Jehova,Allah or Shiva ). The aspirant becomes engrossed in deep meditation and infinite bliss.
