Okay, by now you may have some idea of how Quisqenya came to be, but if I were to complete the history on post are on the next few days, I think I will miss alot and you might not truly get a good sense of the pride we feel or the story of us. So I think I will post about other Dominican topics for a while after this one. For example, there are three days that are significant to independence for the Dominican Republic but we celebrate the 27 of feb. 1844, why? Tell you later, so here it is
French rule France came to own the island in 1795, when by the Peace of Basel Spain ceded Santo Domingo as a consequence of the French Revolutionary Wars. At the time, Saint-Domingue's slaves, led by Toussaint Louverture, were in revolt against France. In 1801 they captured Santo Domingo, thus controlling the entire island; but in 1802 an army sent by Napoleon captured Toussaint Louverture and sent him to France as prisoner. However, Toussaint Louverture's lieutenants, and yellow fever, succeeded in expelling the French again from Saint-Domingue, which in 1804 the rebels made independent as the Republic of Haiti. Eastwards, France continued to rule Spanish Santo Domingo. In 1808, following Napoleon's invasion of Spain, the criollos of Santo Domingo revolted against French rule and, with the aid of Great Britain (Spain's ally) and Haiti, returned Santo Domingo to Spanish control. Ephemeral independence and Haitian occupation
Juan Pablo Duarte is widely considered the architect of the Dominican Republic and its independence from Haitian rule in 1844. After a dozen years of discontent and failed independence plots by various groups, Santo Domingo's former Lieutenant-Governor (top administrator), José Núñez de Cáceres, declared the colony's independence as Spanish Haiti, on November 30, 1821. He requested the new state's admission to Simón Bolívar's republic of Gran Colombia, but Haitian forces, led by Jean-Pierre Boyer, invaded just nine weeks later, in February 1822. As Toussaint Louverture had done two decades earlier, the Haitians abolished slavery. But they also nationalized most private property, including all the property of landowners who had left in the wake of the invasion; much Church property; as well as all property belonging to the former rulers, the Spanish Crown. Boyer also placed more emphasis on cash crops grown on large plantations, reformed the tax system, and allowed foreign trade. The new system was widely opposed by Dominican farmers, although it produced a boom in sugar and coffee production. All levels of education collapsed; the university was shut down, as it was starved both of resources and students, with young Dominican men from 16 to 25 years old being drafted into the Haitian army. Boyer's occupation troops, who were largely Dominicans, were unpaid, and had to "forage and sack" from Dominican civilians. Haiti imposed a "heavy tribute" on the Dominican people. Many whites fled Santo Domingo for Puerto Rico and Cuba (both still under Spanish rule), Venezuela, and elsewhere. In the end the economy faltered and taxation became more onerous. Rebellions occurred even by Dominican freedmen, while Dominicans and Haitians worked together to oust Boyer from power. Anti-Haitian movements of several kinds — pro-independence, pro-Spanish, pro-French, pro-British, pro-United States — gathered force following the overthrow of Boyer in 1843. Independence Dominican flag from 1844 to 1849 In 1838 Juan Pablo Duarte founded a secret society called La Trinitaria, which sought the complete independence of Santo Domingo without any foreign intervention. Matías Ramón Mella and Francisco del Rosario Sánchez, despite not being among the founding members of La Trinitaria, were decisive in the fight for independence. Duarte, Mella, and Sánchez are considered the three Founding Fathers of the Dominican Republic.[citation needed] On February 27, 1844, the Trinitarios (the members of La Trinitaria), declared the independence from Haiti. They were backed by Pedro Santana, a wealthy cattle rancher from El Seibo, who became general of the army of the nascent Republic. The Dominican Republic's first Constitution was adopted on November 6, 1844, and was modeled after the United States Constitution. The decades that followed were filled with tyranny, factionalism, economic difficulties, rapid changes of government, and exile for political opponents. Threatening the nation's independence were renewed Haitian invasions occurring in 1844, 1845–49, 1849–55, and 1855–56. Meanwhile, archrivals Santana and Buenaventura Báez held power most of the time, both ruling arbitrarily. They promoted competing plans to annex the new nation to another power: Santana favored Spain, and Báez the United States. The voluntary colony and the Restoration republic General Gregorio Luperón, Restoration hero and later President of the Republic In 1861, after imprisoning, silencing, exiling, and executing many of his opponents and due to political and economic reasons, Santana signed a pact with the Spanish Crown and reverted the Dominican nation to colonial status, the only Latin American country to do so. His ostensible aim was to protect the nation from another Haitian annexation. But opponents launched the War of the Restoration in 1863, led by Santiago Rodríguez, Benito Monción, and Gregorio Luperón, among others. Haiti, fearful of the re-establishment of Spain as colonial power on its border, gave refuge and supplies to the revolutionaries. The United States, then fighting its own Civil War, vigorously protested the Spanish action. After two years of fighting, Spain abandoned the island in 1865. Political strife again prevailed in the following years; warlords ruled, military revolts were extremely common, and the nation amassed debt. It was now Báez's turn to act on his plan of annexing the country to the United States, where two successive presidents were supportive. U.S. President Grant desired a naval base at Samaná and also a place for resettling newly freed Blacks. The treaty, which included U.S. payment of $1.5 million for Dominican debt repayment, was defeated in the United States Senate in 1870 on a vote of 28–28, two-thirds being required.
Ulises 'Lilís' Heureaux, President of the Republic 1882–84, 1886–99 Báez was toppled in 1874, returned, and was toppled for good in 1878. A new generation was thence in charge, with the passing of Santana (he died in 1864) and Báez from the scene. Relative peace came to the country in the 1880s, which saw the coming to power of General Ulises Heureaux. "Lilís", as the new president was nicknamed, enjoyed a period of popularity. He was, however, "a consummate dissembler", who put the nation deep into debt while using much of the proceeds for his personal use and to maintain his police state. Heureaux became rampantly despotic and unpopular.] In 1899 he was assassinated. However, the relative calm over which he presided allowed improvement in the Dominican economy. The sugar industry was modernized, and the country attracted foreign workers and immigrants, both from the Old World and the New. From 1902 on, short-lived governments were again the norm, with their power usurped by caudillos in parts of the country. Furthermore, the national government was bankrupt and, unable to pay Heureaux's debts, faced the threat of military intervention by France and other European creditor powers.
Well, this doesn't even get to the Trujillo regieme but that is another topic for another day. but the lesson endeth here for now, hope you enjoyed learning something about our culture and history and if you already knew all of this then I would say, are you dominicano? ha, ha, ha and oh yeah take care and God bless, your friend, Biggs

Well here is day three ha ha ha
The Taínos The Arawakan-speaking Taínos moved into Hispaniola, displacing earlier inhabitants, c. AD 650. They engaged in farming and fishing,[dead link] and hunting and gathering. The fierce Caribs drove the Taínos to the northeastern Caribbean during much of the 15th century. The estimates of Hispaniola's population in 1492 vary widely, including one hundred thousand, three hundred thousand, and four hundred thousand to two million. Determining precisely how many people lived on the island in pre-Columbian times is next to impossible, as no accurate records exist. By 1492 the island was divided into five Taíno chiefdoms.[citation needed] The Spanish arrived in 1492. After initially friendly relationships, the Taínos resisted the conquest, led by the female Chief Anacaona of Xaragua and her ex-husband Chief Caonabo of Maguana, as well as Chiefs Guacanagarix, Guamá, Hatuey, and Enriquillo. The latter's successes gained his people an autonomous enclave for a time on the island. Nevertheless, within a few years after 1492 the population of Taínos had declined drastically, due to smallpox and other diseases that arrived with the Europeans,] and from other causes discussed below. The decline continued, and by 1711 the Taínos numbered just 21,000.4] The last record of pure Taínos in the country was from 1864. Still, Taíno biological heritage survived to an important extent, due to intermixing. Census records from 1514 reveal that 40% of Spanish men in the colony had Taíno wives, and many present-day Dominicans have Taíno ancestry. Remnants of the Taino culture include their cave paintings, as well as pottery designs which are still used in the small artisan village of Higüerito, Moca.[citation needed] Spanish rule
Alcázar de Colón, located in Santo Domingo, is the oldest Viceregal residence in America. Christopher Columbus arrived on Hispaniola on December 5, 1492, during the first of his four voyages to America. He claimed the island for Spain and named it La Española. In 1496 Bartholomew Columbus, Christopher's brother, built the city of Santo Domingo, Europe's first permanent settlement in the "New World". The Spaniards created a plantation economy on the island.[20] The colony was the springboard for the further Spanish conquest of America and for decades the headquarters of Spanish power in the hemisphere. Christopher was buried in Santo Domingo upon his death in 1506. The Taínos nearly disappeared, above all, from European infectious diseases to which they had no immunity. Other causes were abuse, suicide, the breakup of family, starvation, enslavement, forced labor, torture, war with the Spaniards, changes in lifestyle, and miscegenation. Laws passed for the Indians' protection (beginning with the Laws of Burgos, 1512–1513) were never truly enforced. Yet as stated above, the Taínos did survive. Some scholars believe that las Casas exaggerated the Indian population decline in an effort to persuade King Carlos to intervene, and that encomenderos also exaggerated it, in order to receive permission to import more African slaves. Moreover, censuses of the time omitted the Indians who fled into remote communities, where they often joined with runaway Africans (cimarrones), producing Zambos. Also, Mestizos who were culturally Spanish were counted as Spaniards, some Zambos as black, and some Indians as Mulattos. Santo Domingo's population saw a spectacular increase during the 18th century, as it rose from some 6,000 in 1737 to about 125,000 in 1790. Approximately, this was composed of 40,000 white landowners, 25,000 black or mulatto freedmen, and 60,000 slaves. After its conquest of the Aztecs and Incas, Spain neglected its Caribbean holdings. French buccaneers settled in western Hispaniola, and by the 1697 Treaty of Ryswick, Spain ceded the area to France. France created the wealthy colony Saint-Domingue there, with a population 90% slave, and overall four times as populous (500,000 to 125,000) as the Spanish area at the end of the 18th century.

The Dominican Republic (i/dəˌmɪnɨkən rɨˈpʌblɪk/; Spanish: República Dominicana [reˈpuβlika ðominiˈkana]) is a nation on the island of La Hispaniola, part of the Greater Antilles archipelago in the Caribbean region. The western third of the island is occupied by the nation of Haiti, making Hispaniola one of two Caribbean islands that are shared by two countries. Both by area and population, the Dominican Republic is the second largest Caribbean nation (after Cuba), with 48,442 square kilometres (18,704 sq mi) and an estimated 10 million people. Taínos inhabited what is now the Dominican Republic since the 7th century. Christopher Columbus landed on it in 1492, and it became the site of the first permanent European settlement in the Americas, namely Santo Domingo, the country's capital and Spain's first capital in the New World. Santo Domingo can boast of many firsts in the Americas, including the first university, cathedral, and castle, the latter two in the Ciudad Colonial area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After three centuries of Spanish rule, with French and Haitian interludes, the country became independent in 1821 under the rule of a former colonial judge who maintained the system of slavery and limited rights for the mostly mulatto and black population. The ruler, José Núñez de Cáceres, intended that the Dominican Republic be part of the nation of Gran Colombia, but he was quickly removed by the Haitian government and "Dominican" slave revolts. Victorious in the Dominican War of Independence in 1844, Dominicans experienced mostly internal strife, and also a brief return to Spanish rule, over the next 72 years. The United States occupation of 1916–1924, and a subsequent, calm and prosperous six-year period under Horacio Vásquez Lajara, were followed by the dictatorship of Rafael Leonidas Trujillo Molina until 1961. The civil war of 1965, the country's last, was ended by a U.S.-led intervention, and was followed by the authoritarian rule of Joaquín Balaguer, 1966–1978. Since then, the Dominican Republic has moved toward representative democracy, and has been led by Leonel Fernández for most of the time after 1996. The Dominican Republic has the second largest economy in the Caribbean and Central American region. Though long known for sugar production, the economy is now dominated by services.[4] The country's economic progress is exemplified by its advanced telecommunication system. Nevertheless, unemployment,[4] government corruption, and inconsistent electric service remain major Dominican problems. The country also has "marked income inequality". International migration affects the Dominican Republic greatly, as it receives and sends large flows of migrants. Haitian immigration and the integration of Dominicans of Haitian descent are major issues; the total population of Haitian origin is estimated at 800,000. A large Dominican diaspora exists, most of it in the United States, where it numbers 1.3 million. They aid national development as they send billions of dollars to their families, accounting for one-tenth of the Dominican GDP. The Dominican Republic has become the Caribbean's largest tourist destination; the country's year-round golf courses are among the top attractions. In this mountainous land is located the Caribbean's highest mountain, Pico Duarte, as is Lake Enriquillo, the Caribbean's largest lake and lowest elevation. Quisqueya, as Dominicans often call their country, has an average temperature of 26 °C (78.8 °F) and great biological diversity. Music and sport are of the highest importance in Dominican culture, with merengue as the national dance and song and baseball the favorite sport
Well that is enough to get you started. jajajaja, 2 b continued by the way I Dominican Republic, Thanks for reading and take care, God bless you, God bless the Philippines, God bless the United States of America and God bless Republica Dominicana!!!!! Biggs

Why did I get married/divorced?

Let me start this blog with, I know that this will be the longest blog I have ever posted. I could break it into several parts or try to cut it short but what fun will that be? So instead, I will inform the few of you that read and those who question why I list myself as married on my profile, that most of these answers will be in the last couple of paragraphs so if you want you can skip down to that section. But since the title is why, then I feel I should explain my life up to the point of the marriage, and why I chose who I married and why our Marriage failed even though Love never fails. 1 corinthians 13 So lets get to it. I have 5 older brothers, all of which have been Married and divorced. I have had 10 friends, all around my age, some Puerto Rican, Some Columbian, some from almost every latino country in the world and yes some Pinoy/pinay. These friends have all also been Married and yes all divorced some more than once. I once said because you should learn from you mistakes and those of others, I would never get married. Besides why settle for one woman when you can have them all. Easily a wise decision right? But as I got older and when I joined the Marines, I decided that I would have a career and I wanted to have the total package, career, family, home, etc. . . . Yes I decided I would marry. But I guess party life and the Marines wasn't a good mix along with marriage.
Being a Marine, I was sent to Hawaii, Japan, and the Philippines. I met the woman I thought was the love of my life there, a Pinay. We didn't get married then but about 5 years later I did marry her and she changed maybe I changed too, but it was a lot of things and we divorced. Long story short she and I had different thoughts on everything and that is that. I had become a member of fff at the time we met so I became more active on this site and I had really think do I want to marry another pinay after all that happened with the last one. My answer was and is no, but I also had some good friends that I had met and so I kept the flirting and have been on this site ever since. But at that time I felt and feel that because of the culture difference, I need to marry another Dominicana because it was just to much to deal with when you have so many differences in everything imaginable.
I also wanted to get into acting and so I have decided that I will focus on my career in acting and after I have gotten myself established within my trade, then maybe I will think about the marriage stuff. I am currently working on that and I have gotten some small roles but i guess not on the level that I believe I will be on some day. Plus I moved so much with my Marine career that I didn't want to bring someone else into that ever. I have two kids from my previous marriage and I spend as much time with them as possible. So I guess they keep me off fff, more than I would be, that and auditions, travel, work, visiting family in Dominican Republic, and my family here in California. Now what about this profile thing.
I changed my profile at one point and time and had some girls I met here and other internet sites and let me say, once burned, twice shy. When your a single guy on a dating site and a little naive, you find out quick that there are a lot of con artist, there are some real stalkers, and there are some that just don't understand that you don't want to marry them after the first chat. I mean some real stalkers. So then I went through the turn my profile off from viewing. but that also doesn't work, cause every other person, wants to view your profile, even if they aren't interested in you for dating or marriage they just think your hiding something and so I turned my profile back on and it all started over again. Harrasment actually, and so I quite fff for a while. But like I said previously, I had a lot of friends here. So I came back. I also changed my profile to married and omg, I cut down on half of the request for calls, request for money, stalkers, and all of the problems of having a dating site account.
Now you may think that I would want to settle down with a pinay since this is basicly a dating site. But no, its fun to chat, to joke with people in the chat rooms and that stuff. So that is why I am listed as i am. also why I am on fff. No I am not looking for a wife, no I don't want a serious relationship, but hey I am a man. Well the last time I checked I am. And I have an account with aff, and that is adult ff in case your wondering, and yes I have met some people on that site too. Who doesn't enjoy relations ha, ha, ha
In conclusion, I was born in a very small town called San Feliepe de Puerto Plata. Its in the Dominican Republic. I also know that I have taino and African and hispanic heritage. So I guess there is just about no race that I should limit myself to except maybe for other mulatos or something, ha, ha, ha. I do however plan to marry one day, just not today, and more likely not tomorrow either, ha, ha, ha but the future. Now if you are up for adult fun and no strings attached and you can handle that, holla at cha boy. Also if your dominicano, or like plantains, mofungo, chimichungas, sancocho, arroz y carne and most all other Dominicano dishes, then that will work too, just hate the game and not the player
It is good to have friends, especially on fff, cause you don't have to worry, that much about feelings getting that strong and you wanting to be in a relationship with them that much even though I had my share of disappointments with trying to develop long term relationships also. I Live in Los Angeles, and its plenty of dates to be found here so I am here for my few friends that remain, and chatting as always and yeah, I am not going to change my status, as I explained. If you want to be the next MS Big_Poppi, hate to disappoint but it more than likely is not going to happen. But thanks for sharing my blog, all the concern over where my wife is and all the hate as to me being married. As for my true friends here, I feel you are all my friends as much as if we met on 27 febrero ave in Santo Domingo or you went to my high school. Thanks for being truly great friends and God bless, take care, your friend, Biggs

Friends with no strings attached?

Well, I kinda made a comment about someone being friends with a male(she was a female) and them just being friends. That comment evolved into this blog. ha, ha, ha, or as my Dominican friends have come to use, jajajaja however you laugh, just laugh besides, if you can't laugh at your self you are being way too serious! Now I don't believe in the two sexiest being friends, where, either one of the two is attracted to the other, or the two are both attractive and not attached. This doesn't mean that men and women are not friends. I know for sure I have some attractive friends, and I know for sure, that every goodlooking and sexy attractive one of you all has a friend or two of the opposite sex that is either sexy or just plain hot. Especially if your friends with me cause, I'm sexy and I know it ) Now here is the story. There are more than 6 billion people on the face of the planet earth. or there abouts. We come from different cultures, different regions, different religious influences, we have different music preferences, different dances, different traditions and different prefered food. maybe even more than that. I have often said that we are all a little different, that is why we look different, why we have different heights and different views. Or else we should all look the same if we were all the same. However, we are all, more alike than we are different. if you look at how many things we share in common, you would see that we are very similar despite our differences. Isn't true that the people we are best friends with are the people that share our likes and intrest. Therefore the friends of ours that are of the opposite sex, share our basic views, likes and dislikes, and so on and so on.
Not to mention, most of us are still attracted to the opposite sex. This is we want and need love. Love is the single most important thing in life. There are however, several forms of love. Some of this may not even be love but rather lust. Regardless, I believe we are created to give and receive love. Naturally you love your friends. I love my friends also. It is the easiest transaction to make from, friends to lovers, especially because your mate should be your best friend. Now most don't really like to risk the lost of the friendship, so we try to find some place in between lifetime partners and just friends. Here is where we find the friends with benifits senerio. Sure you can be friends. Sure you can be friends with benefits. But it always turns out bad if you try to remain friends with benefits only. Always! So I was trying to get to this point in my conversation but never got there How do I a man, express my love for my friend, a lady, but not make it romantic. STOP!!!! I know right here several of you will give me advice on this way or do this or do that or tell her, cause women love to know. This is not a plea for advice. Thanks for the thoughts though. No really, clear your mind, no advice, okay? Just hold that thought, no you should, or this is how or what you might do, I just know that when I try to tell my sexy hot single attractive friend, how great she is and how much I love her, as a friend, only. it always ends with some friend saying you two should hook up or why don't you date. So this is another strain on the friendship. Do I want to see her happy? of course. Is she important to me, yes. But it is almost just as hard to be friends with an attactive woman, as it is to be friends with benefits. So to quote When Harry met sally, Billy crystal's charater says, "Men and women can never be friends, because the sex always gets in the way" Yes I know all you more wise than time bloggers will now say, I have a lot of male friends and that is not science but If I were to make this a three page thousand word blog, I could quote, authors, scientist, research findings, polls, magazines, news shows, talk shows, doctors, reality shows, movies, poems, famous people, unkown people, times and situations from my own life, my friends lives, people I have met on the net that I call friends, long distance family members, neighbors in Tustin, Celebrities in the news and in the Media(most recently, did you know jlo and Marc Anthony were friends first?). At least a 1000 to 1 search and studies that will support my theory. and Yes I know of a couple times where it actually worked out. But I will say this, the divorce rate for active duty Marines in the United States is almost 85%. Some marry for the wrong reasons, some marry for money or pregnacies but why so many divorces? Especially since Love never fails 1 cor 13 So just some thoughts to think on. do think on this and no advice needed again. You don't have to tell me how this works for him or her or if I really love this girl why don't I want to be in a relationship with her? Cause if I were in a relationship with every single attractive and sexy friend that I care about even love as a friend, I would be in 30 or 40 relationships yeah, I got that many sexy friends, and I didn't even could all the sexy girls I know on the internet and on fff. Especially fff!!! too many!!! anyways, i will end on that note. One more thing, please, please, please, don't tell me that I am wrong, that women and men can always be friends, cause I am friends(if you are a woman especially) with a lot of guys. Guys cause you have beautiful friends that you are not attracted to, cause that is a lie! if they were attractive, then you just said you are attracted. Attractive=attracted. No attraction= not attractive. Thanks for reading, as always I do welcome comments on the blog and whether you agree or disagree, but keep an open mind. Bring more research than your own personal view, which you don't have support through some type of study or research, and as always be willing to say you could be wrong just as I could be wrong. By the way I never watched the Justin Timberlake movie, but I bet it ends with him and the girl wanting more than just friendship and sex, and that causes some type of conflict and they either end up a couple or completely seperated from each other with no friendship or any relationship either. I guess I will watch it when it comes out on dvd to see if I was right? ha, ha, ha take care and God bless everyone, your friend, Biggs
P.S. Happy New year If I haven't told you already

Cancer New Year, Part 2(Romance)

Okay, so this is the Romance outlook for the year to come from the so called experts for my sign, Cancer. I will think about posting this for the other signs also, maybe? ha, ha, ha but also, seriously, if your an aquarius, you know, ha, ha, ha. Here is the outlook and Come on Cancer
Cancer, this is your year to take romance seriously! If you've been a dilettante, your time is running out. Saturn will enter your love sector this October and ask you to make important choices about what you will - and won't - accept in your love life. The cosmic taskmaster planet will also require you to put up or shut up when it comes to romance. No longer can you say one thing and do another. Either you're in it for the long haul ... or you're a free bird. There's no longer any in-between.
Friends could easily become lovers, or vice versa, under the lucky auspices of Jupiter in your social sector. It also means you could meet someone very special through your circle of friends. You won't be spending much time at home this year, so your chances of meeting someone special are multiplied by the amount of time you spend out with friends. Always dress for success, because you never know who you might meet!
Pluto continues to rock the very foundation of your significant relationships. This has been going on for so many years now, it's starting to feel status quo. You've certainly been to hell and back so often in recent times that you've grown accustomed to picking up the pieces and starting over. The redeeming factor of this intense transit is that each time you go through a personal cataclysm, you emerge that much stronger. Your ability to regenerate is astonishing at this point. You've weeded out the toxic relationship patterns and - more importantly - the negative people from your life. When it comes to love, you are the Phoenix!
So Now you know, take care all and God bless, and Have a great and Prosperous Year, and many many years to come!!!! Your friend, Biggs

Well for those who don't read my blog often or chat with me in the chat rooms. I love to follow some aspects of the zodiac charts and signs and especially the parts that deal with compatability. I understand that most of the things these people post are full of bulla bulla, but I also know that the art of reading the signs and the stars is as old as any science we have or study and develop. After all, The magi(three wise men) studied the heavens and stars and knew that Jesus was born because they saw his "star". With that said, once again I have to post this really long blog, ha, ha, ha Actually now that I think about it I will have to break it into two parts. Okay here is part one, and this blog is for Cancer's because I am a Cancer and to do all of the signs might take me a week but you should be compatable with a cancer too, especially if your super sexy, or very attractive, and perhaps Dominicana or latina? but that aside, I didn't pay attention to these things till I had a marriage fall apart and my ex was a leo and of course the signs say cancer and leo are not very compatable they also say cancer and aquarius are not very compatable long term but we would have amazing sex? So now accepting all aquarius applications, please fax resume and two pics Overall projections for Cancer for this year are as follows
Year 2012 Career The continued presence of future-forward Uranus in your career sector will insist you remain open to the big picture and be willing to put yourself out there in a rebellious way. Experimenting, taking risks and being a pioneer in your chosen field are all requirements in 2012! No longer can you remain in the safe protection of your shell. As the old adage goes: Life starts where your comfort zone ends. When Pluto and Uranus make an exact square in June, you'll be forced to make a major change if your career still isn't where you want it to be.
With action planet Mars spending most of the year in the workaholic sign of Virgo and activating your communication sector, you can expect your inbox to practically overflow; you won't get a break from networking until summer. In fact, you may have to impose your own tech fasts just to preserve your sanity! Especially during the first quarter of the year while Mars is retrograde, you'll be craving many pauses and will need to power off once in a while. Use the first few months of 2012 to reflect on where you've been and what you've learned; then, apply those lessons to your future goals. Have you written everything down? If not, now is the time to get clear in very deliberate terms what you want out of your career.
Another wave of eclipse patterns will rock your work sector this spring and summer. The new Moon solar eclipse in May creates a domino effect of long-lasting changes in both the way you work and the kind of work you'll be doing. Are you utilizing all your talents, Cancer? If not, this is your breakout year. All the planets are begging you to take a chance and expand your concept of what you believe is possible. The cosmos will reward you for any risks you take on its behalf!
So good luck my fellow cancer's and lets do this thing!!! ha, ha, ha and seriously, if your an aquarius, holla at cha boy, and as always, take care, love you guys, God bless, your friend, Biggs

There use to be a thing on this site where you could post a bulletin, but i guess those days are gone? That leaves me with the only option of posting this blog. For once I won't preach and be like most and demand that you respect Jesus(for being the reason for the season) or any of that way too commercial and over dramatic stuff that 99% of the wish you wellers will do at this time of year. I will simply say, what ever this time of year means to you, enjoy your season and Have a safe and Happy new year and beyond. Take care to those you love and to those that love you and maybe even to some that you would like to love ha, ha, ha, ha But no matter the time of year or the seasons, this is something we should always embrace. Have a great start, middle and end, to this coming year and to all the years you bless us to be a part of your lives, how ever small that part is, I love you all, it has truly been my hearts pleasure to have known and met so many amazing men and women here, I hope we continue to know each other in the years to come. Again, the honor has been mine, I never like to end anything without a blessing to my friends and associates and a scripture. Luke 1:37 "for with God, nothing shall be impossible" Whatever you want in life God is ready and willing to give to you, he only ask you to believe! Take care, God bless, and keep you all, may he make his face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you. bbfn, your friend, Biggs

I often get accussed of being a preacher type or trying to preach to the masses. To that I usually say, God is such a big influence in my life, that he manefest in all my ways, speach, and words. But I sincerely am not trying to preach in this blog. Its not even really about religion. I also don't mean to hate to anyone that is either gay . I simply mean to imply my beliefs and feeling on the spiritual essence of Men and Women and the best way for me to illistrate that is through Bible references. To me the strongest, most sacred and holy of sources that can be used to support an arguement.
Many people don't know this, but the first bibles were translated from hebrew and aramaeic. Because of this, alot of things were either mistranslated, or translate partially into greek and all the other languages from there. The biggest misconception is that God took a rib from adams side, to make woman. When the actual aramaeic specificly translantes to he took his essence from his side. Why is that important. it is simple really. the essence of a man is contained within woman. We were made to be incomplete usless we connect to and connect with our essence which to me means woman. Therefore shall a man leave his mother and father, and shall cling to his wife.
Being in need of fulfillment means our spirit is in need as well, or lacking. Since we can not gain this for ourselves we seek it in other sources. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. Our lives are built on loving others and being loved ourselves, because God made us in his image and after his likeness, and God is Love. So when you find someone that truly makes you happy. You feel as you have everything and your soul is complete because, litterally they do complete you. That is the danger in sleeping with many partners and not being true to the true one that is meant for you. Your soul will never be whole with just anyone, but there is just one that is made spiritually with your essence and therefore your soul's mate. Lastly God didn't say, it is not good that man should be whole. Or that it is not good that he should be complete. He did say, it is not good that he should be alone, I will make for him a help mate(litterally translated ) a soul mate. Take care and God bless, and here wishing we all find our essence in the one that is meant for us . Your friend, Biggs
by the way, i think, my essence may just be The Dominican Republic in general. Every time I leave, a part of me stays behind. Thanks again
