.......S P E E C H L E S S....... Was minding my own business as I normally do Until I met a most interesting person in you You were sweet, kind, a little bit a brat I'd walked into love...just like that With all the where, what and who As I tried to explain myself to you There were hours and hours of chat we had shared Each of which lessened those feelings of scared It was funny, exciting, and always a blast Sharing the present, future and past My words flowed freely as if I just knew The fellings I wanted to express to you My heart became alive again, after hidden away From those lessons of life on one cold past day As I opened up more...I was stumped to find That I'd become "speechless" for the very first time I knew the words were there, somewhere to be found Yet it was useless, I could not utter a sound "Speechless" They say a spell can have that mystical power To bring a man down from that ivory tower Can leave you "speechless" as I would say On any given night, evening, or day I reach for words that comfort and soothe Then I realize it's not me...it's you I'm here, my testimony will tell There is no doubt it's a powerful spell She is the keeper of my sole, my heart To love and hold, when we are apart It is said a cupid...the one with the bow strikes the heart with love, for this we should know You touched my heart, with a heart of your own And only someone special, could have ever know "Speechless" |
