Question : 'Do you believe that Jesus was a of God? Yes,I believe that he's a of God....so are you,me and everybody.In the Bible ,we could read that there are 'sons of true God'...or 'sons of the living God' : "Yet the number of the of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God" - (Hosea 1:10 ) "And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever" - (Genesis 3:22) "That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose "- (Genesis 6:2) "Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them" - (Job 1:6) "I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are of the most High"- Psalm 82:6 This words from Psalm 82:6 were quoted by Jesus ( He was indeed very knowledgeable about the Old Testament of the Bible) to defend himself when he was accused of blasphemy : Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the of God? If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him. Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand - (John 10:31-39) After an extensive biblical research,we could also noticed that the termed 'sons of light' and 'sons of day' or ' of the light and of the day' (Thessalonians 5:5) are closely related to the termed 'sons of God'.In contrast to this termed are called "sons of the system of this things' or ' of this world'( Luke 16 : 8 ).
