is it okay to eat the apple now?..lol.. there was a blog written a few days ago by shygirl about the gov't. warnings on cigarettes.... i posted some comment as to why the gov't. only have warnings on these when they know it's addictive and disease-causing commodities when in fact they can stop production and ban selling of the products, deem it illegal, much like marijuana.... i noted that it's gov't's. washing of hands, saying that users have been warned and now it's a personal choice to taking the risk, knowing that it causes death....but will not stop, ban, deem illegal production and sale because of the chunks of money paid in form of taxes by producers and consumers alike..correct?.. and marijuana is illegal because anybody can plant it, and make the illegal stuff, without a penny of tax paid to the gov't..you think?..  ..what brought about the..APPLE?.. ..isn't it, in the book of Genesis... 001:027 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 001:028 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. 001:029 And God said, Behold, I HAVE GIVEN YOU EVERY HERB BEARING SEED, WHICH IS UPON THE FACE OF ALL THE EARTH, AND EVERY TREE, IN THE WHICH IS THE FRUIT OF A TREE YIELDING SEED; TO YOU IT SHALL BE FOR MEAT. 002:016 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 002:017 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (the APPLE tree, i inserted this, lol), thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. all the greens made by God were for man's consumption, except for the APPLE, so accordingly, marijuana plants can be consumed by the grace of God, but not of the gov't..what about the APPLE?, GOD FORBADE IT TO BE EATEN, RIGHT?..  ..i also wonder if it's in the Book that says that it's okay to eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil after Jesus gave His life for our salvation.. ..i welcome all your comments.. ..feel free to post, even the nasty ones..just messing with you guys....

the "apple" can be anything. we know what God tells us to do and NOT to do, but the serpent always watches and waits. not eating from "that" tree as opposed to another tree was a test, right? it is always tempting to do something we're forbidden to do. my "apple tree" is revenge. haven't done it, but always thinking about it. Have you read Paradise Lost by Milton? Interesting...

Bok, hindi sinabi dun ang apple...ikaw lang nagsabi nyan... I am a party pooper here...hehehehehehehe As far as what I have known from my Judeo-Christian Mythology, the tree of forbidden knowledge as referred to in out bible is not actually referring to an apple tree infact there is no exact name about it but there are some notions that it might be a fig or pomegranate tree as these were the common trees during the time of Jesus. However, it is also good to consider that, that part of the bible is just a myth so when that myth reached the Western Part of Europe it was modified and the tree was named apple for an apple tree(most particularly grab apple) is the oldest tree cultivated in Europe. I am not definitely sure but thats what I'd learned from my literary criticism course hehehehehehehehe Ikaw bok no!!! madaya ka....ako pinapasagot mo ng questions na dapat ikaw.....grrrrrrrrrr...

A long time ago going with my godmother of my wedding and mom praying the rosary in church every Thursday. My godmother(teacher back in P brought up the subject of Eve and the forbidden fruit. I got shocked. The snake/serpent was being associated with Eve's spinal cord(back) and the fruits were her breast. The point of the story might be do not eat of the fruit of knowledge because you will die. What if at that point in time Adam and Eve never had sex before? And the real truth is that "sex" is the original sin??? They were very innocent. So after committing that so sinful pleasure God gave the orders be fruitful and multiply. Why did they feel shame and naked...[I God is pure love...

so, kung ang epol na yan na ayaw ipakain kung bakit tukso namang nakalambitin e kung ang puno ng epol na yan ay inilayo di sana si Eva, hindi narahuyo (si Adan na lang ang kinagat nya, a-sarap pa...di ba Boks?)
