Fly fishing to Neverland?  Good night. Sleeping early. Feeling sicky.    within each one of us, and let it begin with me (and each one of us)..one breath at a time.

Give me a rod of the split bamboo, a rainy day and a fly or two, a mountain stream where the eddies play, and mists hang low o'er the winding way, Give me a haunt by the furling brook, A hidden spot in a mossy nook, No sound save hum of the drowsy bee, or lone bird's tap on the hollow tree. The world may roll with it's busy throng, And phantom scenes on it's way along, It's stocks may rise, or it's stocks may fall, Ah! What care I for it's baubles all? I cast my fly o'er the troubled rill, Luring the beauties by magic skill, With mind at rest and a heart at ease, And drink delight at the balmy breeze. A lusty trout to my glad surprise, Speckled and bright on the crest arise, Then splash and plunge in a dazzling whirl, Hope springs anew as the wavelets curl. Gracefully swinging from left to right, Action so gentle- motion so slight,. Tempting, enticing, on craft intent, Till yielding tip by the game is bent Drawing in slowly, then letting go Under the ripples where mosses grow Doubting my fortune, lost in a dream, Blessing the land of forest and stream. ~ Jolielaide

a valentine poem Catch my spirit little bird are you fast enough ill outrun your wings with my lionheart and leave you in the dust some say i take many things extremely out of the way i look behind with my fameous smile and confidently say that if you compare a spirit to the elements of earth mine would be made from fire wind and stone keep your distance if it hurts and get closer if you know intentions of the lionheart and how i want to grow dont worry about me and ill never trouble you cuz worrying is just a thing i dont recommend you do about me Catch my spirit little bird or are you too afraid ill hurt your wings keep me off your mind till i put myself on mabye keeping yourself blind is a blessing many would ask for should spirits break and empty out from running for too long i may just do what you want me to but soon ill be so strong that i will never need your help for any of my plans ill be runnin free all through the trees ill be fine on my own Catch my spirit little bird are you fast enough ill outrun your wings with my lionheart and leave you ~ Jolielaide
