It´s indeed a beautiful song Oh well I really love,love songs  When ever I am depressed or down I use to listen to my favorite songs to calm down... Gud girls R bad girls who don't get caught...

Bestes' fwen, Ayun nga eh...they (the phantom and Raoul) loved her sooo much, na at one point, di alam ni Christine kung sino ang pipiliin nya...pero ang ugali ng phantom started coming out...his true colors were showing na, to the point na he became really violent when he couldn't have his way with things... The climax was when the phantom abducts Christine, while Raoul scurries off to try to save her. Raoul and the phantom get into somewhat of a brawl, Raoul was tied-up, and the phantom was going to kill Raoul....until, he realized how much the love of his life (Christine) loved Raoul instead...the phantom, as hurt and angry as he was, through the pain and tears, decided to just let the two of them go na. He sacrificed his love for Christine, for her to be happy, no matter that he would suffer. Ngeeeh, kwentuhan galore ba? Ayan, ang daldal ko na, parang loro...heheheee  "Remember, everything happens for a reason. Have faith , life is what you make it..." ~carinyosa4u~

Anywhere you go, let me go too --- grace, that's all I ask of you... it only takes one lifetime... one distinct chance... that is all i ask... to spend each day with you as if there is no more tomorrow... to pepper your thoughts of endless affection as i have done in all these months... to wake up beside you, and smother you with a kiss... to do things in between which adds up to the fact that it is "us"... i love you... you are my conviction... and you will always be, no matter what... thank you beh, for keeping me alive in the thoughts of those who have been seeking me... I am here to stay... and you can take that to the bank...

Wow I didn’t know you were into live theater or you just love the song? Either way, yea that song is hauntingly good. The way Andrew Lloyd puts words into emotion. First time I saw this it sent chills down my spine. Love seems to be a different in a monster then lover. An idea of beauty and the beast strikes an image. You can tell how he sings with passion to Christine. Wish I could sing stage but karaoke is the best I got….were so Filipino lol

I started to be fond of musicals since I watched my older sister in her college play South Pacific, then the Westside Story... You karaoke too? I agree with Marie that it is a very powerful song. The lyrics strike my heart as love is not simply earned. Sometimes, the heart longs for love so much that it needs to begged for. "All I ask of you" is such an ironic phrase. Nice choice of song.
