time in a bottle

some years back, i met this guy, he was part of a venture i’d previously agreed on doing. the meeting was rather impersonal, and it ended in an afternoon of realization that not always will you get what was initially desired. i thought nothing of it since then as i categorized the incident as something to be forgotten, hence i did… or so i thought.

back to the present; flipping through a website nights past led me to a member profile which looked interesting. sure enough it was about a guy celebrating the life of his recently deceased life partner. reading through what was written made me think by jove, these guys had the works of a beautiful friendship… a romance worth your while as they spent ten wonderful years together. an afternoon of commemoration over a cup of hot cocoa ensued as i finally met the grieving partner…

sometimes, the past creeps up to you in ways so odd that you don’t know how to react to it… is this sheer concidence? de javu? or fate? it is up to you to decode and to decide…

 One of the things that makes life fascinating is that it always catches us off guard. I have always believed that all the dots in our lives connect in such a ways to create a 'beautiful' picture be it abstract or ironic.
