Another family member gone

Well I found out today Ive had another family member die on my dads side. My dad is the youngs of 21 , but not so many left anymore. They are all getting to the age that they are passing 1 right after another. The days of a really big family are passing quickely.In 2 days time we will have the funeral. Its nice to grow up with that many bros and sisters,but in the same hand its hard because you have to deal with alot of deaths. My dad is the youngest so he will have to endure alot and will most likely be the last 1 left at some point. The good thing is I have 75 first cousins on my dads side so I still have alot of family left. Everytime someone in the family dies we all get together and usually have a party to celebrate their life and the good times we have all shared. In closing I just hope that my dad doesnt take it to bad I hate to see him feeling down and wondering if hes next. Take care everyone and godbless.

 My condolences to you and to your family, Michael.

You are indeed a big family. Similar to Filipino families. But let us not forget that it should not only be in times of grief that our families gather.
