OCTOBER CELEBRATION EB Before I do a blow by blow account of the happenings last night....let me throw these hugs of warm appreciation and smiles to everyone making up Single Moms, who made my birthday, THE BEST, I have had ever. It was made up of five (5) long days to receive your birthday wishes and greets and showers of love. Am really, really appreciative of all the thoughts and sweetness that were showered for me in all those 5 days that started last Friday and ended last night. I can only do my best and share back what you have given me, keeping our group as alive and intact for the days to come and for each and every member here. Rene and I came to meet Elsa and Gene, about past 5PM yesterday at Paulo's, to begin a night long celebration of my birthday and that of Elsa's. She handed me a good amulet of amethyst for my cellphone, a token of her recent trip from Seoul, South Korea. Thank you best fried. The place was cool and cozy, so I conjured it was also a good place to have our X'mas celebration in SM, this coming December 1, 2007, Saturday. Elsa and I have made our reservations there for this Christmas then. So SM'ers take note, we already have the date and the venue for our 2007 Christmas celebration. We will speak of how much to share next. The first couple arriving was that of Daniel and Norie, the two best and special friends developing last Valentine's EB of SM. I am sure you know what I mean. Daniel was bringing a big birthday cake, that I requested and with all smiles, I simply had to swarm he and Norie with hugs, for being soooooooo sweet and giving in to my request. Thanks, as well Norie for the wrap of bracelet that got into my left wrist. I missed this couple you know and I know everyone did too. Then came Gie, who didn't get lost finding the place, considering she is not familiar with Quezon City but good for her an officemate brought her there. She was bringing two gifts of mugs for Elsa and me. Arriving next was Helbert and Mack, with Helbert, tagging a box of chocolate cake for everyone. Next to arrive was our newbie and latest member, Efren aka SanRemo, who true enough came to join us and take note, he was bringing two delicious and sumptuous special cakes by Conti's, for each of us celebrants. Now you see, why I said priorly cakes were flowing in last night. Lei, gave us a long distance call from Bacolod. She too found a way to contact us for the night to greet me and Elsa. Thanks so much! I know you will love to meet the group when you come to Manila this January. Appreciate your call, dear. Two lovely and beautiful ladies, Lea and Gina, were bringing two bouquets of intricately pieced of arranged roses, with two bottles of red wine, completing the request done by Elsa for the night. There simple has got to be a wine, to be enjoyed by everyone last night and to have a good toast and a good stay of long life our SM group, its moderator/s (past and present) and including its loyal members. Next came Jo, who came alone and got lost going to the place, she was glad to see everyone and had also hugs and smiles to give, because she too missed the group. Thanks for the good confetti of scented smells. Lalet, came running in, still beautiful as ever, but this time alone too. She was also carrying a bottle of red wine. This was the fourth bottle to tilt its bottom. We had ordered one previously, then the two bottles brought it by Lea and Gina. David came by, a bit late and his dramatic entrance plushed all two cameras of Daniel and Rene, giving him a grand entry to hug and kiss every lady in tow. Mah friend, I knew you would come, despite not sounding off you would. Labsyah much! It was minutes before this that Che, gave me an overseas call, to meet and talk to everyone that night. Am pretty sorry Che, you had to spend so much for that phone call, but despite that I heard her voice on the other end so thrilled and excited meeting and talking to all who were there that night. You made your promise, as concrete as how everyone heard your sweet and loving voice. I love you very my friend, and looking forward to your homecoming with the SM'ers. Josephine came rushing to the place late as it was, but the group waited for her to arrive and she too got to meet everyone, although she was a bit quiet and just observing. Then Anja called up to greet Elsa, as she and I had our prior talks over the phone already. She also remembered us last night. But, we must thank her, for what she sent in footed the entire tab of the celebration. I miss you my friend, you should have been there with us. Of course, the best part of the party was the arrival of Marie, she too got lost and hence came late but she knocked everyone with her cajoles and story telling. Wonder what she teaches in school, as we all find her a comical lady, nothing as serious as to think she could be really a teacher of good example. Labsyah Marie, no matter! What do you know, I wasn't expecting this latecomer to come, but he gave me a call and he came rushing to join the group, he was bringing the 5th and 6th bottles of red wine. Julius, so sweet-smelling and handsome, as ever was the last to arrive. Am pretty sure someone last night got bright-eyed and smiling to both having a good grin and mesmerizing eyes. Ah, don't ask who. I know and they all know. Food was flowing, wine too and some buckets of beer, as well. Desserts and sweets flowed too, with the buko pandan and the chocolate cake, given by Helbert shared to everyone. The other cakes were brought home, of course, by the celebrants. I left almost midnight with Rene, Gie and Jo. Same with Lalet and David, who also went ahead leaving behind Elsa, Gene, Gina, Lea, Marie, Norrie, Daniel and Julius. They were the last ones to wrap up the night. So Elsa, can later on add to the happenings here after I have left. AGAIN TO EVERYONE, THANK YOU!!!! THANK YOU!!!! am bad, i forgot to give special thanks to two wonderful gentlemen, who were busy taking the footages of the events that night, Rene and Daniel...THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS!...labyah both! as i love you i love life
