Pinay Ladies, What Are You Looking For? special virtue in your eyes to being an American Husband?

PLEASE COMMENT

Ladies, What is the difference between an American husband and a Pinoy husband. Assuming every man has hormones, is lazy at heart, and loves by way his stomach. What do you see in American men that attracts you to them. I would pray and hope that there is much more to it than a visa to America.

I would love to here from Pinay who have an anticipation of marrying an American and have not been to the States yet. However, any Pinay who has come America as a wife should be able to share great insight and observations of "American Husbands." I would also like so very much to hear from you "most fortunate" wives of us slouches. Your insights might open a lot of eyes!

I have traveled overseas a bit. I even had a German Freulein for 3 years. My observations tell me that American men are known world wide as great husbands. This may or may not be true. It is all relative by comparison. There are differences culturally.

I have the impression that we (USA males) have a reputation for the following:
Being Romantics, enjoying and fatherhood, good providers, good lovers, we're hard workers, we're not drunkards, we like to be at home with our family, we like dogs.

Ladies - Feel free to dispute these notions or to offer additions. You might even feel the need to point out our inadequacies and disfunctions as a group. such as Football vs. Soccer, and the fact that we don't like to eat our vegetables.

Beautiful Pinay Ladies - Thank you for you enlightening observations. Dave

If American men get divorced, they support their children to they reach the age of 18! The Philippines have no such laws and could care less about the Mother and children. This is a disgrace, considering the majority of the country is Roman Catholic..

What are you doing when you lose the most track of time? This is what you should spend the most time doing.

Hello Donaldhappy,
Thank you for commenting! This is insightful and hardhitting. I agree with what you are saying here. It is disgraceful. It would seem to create a sense of desperation. I cannot grasp the level of loneliness and dysfunction that is resulting. How would a society and culture prosper and grow under such circumstances? Dave

this time i agree bud . these ladies would be much better off if their children's needs were met by the father & he is held accountable for his offspring before dumping them & starting yet another family he knows he will not have to support either.

Hello Cudaguy,
Thanks, Your right. This would seem to be a road to untenable social disruption and chaos. I find it difficult to understand how a country that has a religion that so eloquently espouse caring for the less fortunate can tolerate and condone such behavior. Are there no sanctions, no consequences for irresponsibility? Dave

hello dave
i will just have to try to have an american husband first before i can tell the difference
but i am sure...the culture has a big part...needs a lot of communication thingy...

Hello Smiley1957,
Thanks, I agree with you. But, you are leaving out some of the details: ie, you are on a sight that does not have tagalog as its foundation, but rather english. Your talking to Kanos, not Pinoys!
Are there any particular reasons you have made this choice? I am all ears.
Thank You again for commenting. Dave
