PARANOID

One fact that can not be denied when the 30's stage starts in life is the unexpected changes in physical and physiological health.

I guess, I had just experienced it last Monday when I felt dizzy and I did not know whats wrong with me.

I had this feeling that earth seemed to be shaking sometimes but I did not give it much attention until last Monday.

I shared it with my nurse friend after finishing my kick boxing session. She told me that she will come to check my blood pressure the following day. She did.

For the first time, my BP was higher than what I normally had for many years.A sudden panic rushed to my whole being. My friend assured me that it is not that bad but its near borderline. I need to change my lifestyle.I asked what more do I need to change? I have been very careful of my diet. She told me to check my working attitude.

Later that day, I went to see a doctor. The check up revealed the same blood pressure. My panic became worse. I started to think of the worst possibilities. I imagined the life tied up with medicine. I felt the greatest worry in my life!!!

The doctor had told me that everything was fine. I was just so much into pressures that turned things that way. I was not convinced.I turned paranoid!!!!

The paranoia I felt ended with my fears to eat. I was so afraid to ingest just any foods.Things which were not normal anymore. My best friends, noticed it. I told them my fears. They were so flabbergasted upon hearing it. They scolded me. I was brought back to my senses.I tried to relax. I discovered that my fears were unfounded. I am still very far to the worst conditions that I am imagining.

I called my mom and I got the same scolding.

Later, my friends confronted me why I was so paranoid about the slight increase of my bp?

I told them honestly that It was founded on the three worst things that I ever known.

1. Ingesting tablets and capsules aren't easy.
2. IV needle are the scariest thing ever known to me.
3. Getting sick is very, very expensive.

Whew!!!

hey Jense don't be paranoid...bp goes up or down...have someone check your blood sugar level too...it's better yo know what's taking place in our body...low carb, salt, fat, sugar and plenty of walking may help to have a normal bp
Manny,

Thanks for the concern. I already got the general check up result...all are well.

God bless bro.

You are already working out, so maybe, proper dieting will also help (and what I mean with that is eating justthe right food, not starving yourself)..Besides, it may run in your family too...(hypertension)..It pays to be careful..

BP varies usually from one person to another and throughout the day, so you'll be fine Jense.

Like it's normal for me to have low BP.

within each one of us, and let it begin with me (and each one of us)..one breath at a time.
