So Long Bob, Bon Voyage


Have a nice trip Bob!

My long time friend, Bob, is leaving today back to his home in Enfield, Connecticut, USA. He was here to marry his fiancee, Belen. They got married on the 22nd day of August and he has to leave her after his 4-week stay in her place.

Bob is my friend for more than 25 years. I was still 19 years old then and he was 29 when he first wrote me a letter. I got married to my late husband on the 7th year of our correspondence but still we continued to write letters. He became a friend of my late husband and my too.

Recently, he met online a lady from Cebu City, they talked for 4 months and like a whirlwind he decided to come to Cebu to meet her and he took the opportunity to meet me too. He will always be my good friend.

To Bob and Belen, my prayerful wishes for a very happy life together. Hope the visa gets approved soon so you will start sharing a life together.

To Bob, have a nice trip back to Enfield.
