Stay A or Grow Up?

Sounds silly but yes made me think why?

How come people tell you to stay a for as long as you can. Yet the moment you do anything childish or immature they tell you to grow up.

I think because there are different definitions of "being a kid". The positive is that kids know how to have fun. They don't think of what they may look like to others, whereas we adults do worry about what others think. However, children also do things without thinking about the consequences like.... playing with fire (but of course they do those things because they want to learn about the world.) We as adults, are expected to already know much more so when we do something that is obviously a bad move, then we are seen as someone who hasn't learned or doesn't know any better. One more thing...being a kid also mean loving without conditions. A lesson I'm trying to master. Take care.

Childish is different from childlike.

Child like is enjoying things as they are. Taking delight to a cone of ice cream or a plastic of iced candy. Making friends after shedding a tear. Giving smiles even to the stranger.Forgetting the status you have when you eat isaw and adidas.

Childish...hmmmmm...let me see...maybe a dish for a child...let it be a fried chicken most of the time....hehehehehehehee

Good day Odette

I love her sunny's insight.

Adults worry because they've been broken and hurt and expected to learn and know better the advantages and disadv of their actions.

Children who experience a carefree childhood don't have to worry about any burdening responsibility.
