Lost and Found

HOW GONGGONG CAME TO US

In summer of 2005, my two , Jezreel and Jeziel Anne, were playing outside and I saw them coming home with a small bucket. I sensed that they were trying to hide the bucket from my view so I was curious as to why they did that. I kinda acted like I never saw them but I was trying to figure out what they were trying to hide and when I saw the bucket, bingo!... there was this little kitten, eyes gazing at me blankly. I shouted, "Throw that thing out!" I always had this feeling that having cats in the house can surely trigger asthmatic attacks. My two pleaded to keep the kitten, so I gave the condition that the kitten should not get in the house.

It went for few days. One day I caught them playing in the bedroom with the kitten. Eventually I was told that it has been that way ever since they found GongGong. When I was out, he was in.

Now I look back and GongGong has been with us for more than a year now. He has become a part of the family. Everyone loves him and he loves us in return. He stays outside and waits for us to come home. Probably in his mind is either of these two things: He thinks that he is human like us, or we are all cats like him. It doesn't matter what he thinks, we got him under our skin. I always come home looking forward to seeing these 3 creatures, my , my and GongGong.

Where did you get the name GongGong? Has anyone of your children suffer from asthma? I love cats too.

My daughter is fondly called GangGang, so the name GongGong is the masculine version of GangGang.

I remember my son had asthma that was before we found GongGong, but never lately.
