TRYING ...

I sit in my tub, wet,
sweating like a sauna.
I have jets...
I use them,
and they feel good.
I think of you.

I try
but do not succeed.
I shut off my jets,
slowly drain the tub.
sit in it 'til
the water is gone.

I too feel empty,
I feel like crying,
but just feel frustrated.
I look at the possibility
of the impossible

...maybe someday.
