What a surprise : ))

Had a wonderful evening with my closest friend last night, my "Samoan Dad". We've lived on opposite sides of the country for at least a year now, so when i got a text message from him asking me to pick him up from the Bus Depot i was very excited and couldn't get there fast enough. He's the only one who's been there through all my major life events, the highest highs and the lowest lows. He's been there, done that, always trying new things, never holding back.
Last night we had so much catching up to do, and although we keep in touch by texting on a weekly basis, nothing beats conversing face to face, and animating the years events with hand gestures, laughs and hugs.
We could've talked all night but i had an early start today so we'll meet up this weekend and say our farewells until the next opportunity.... really hoping it won't be too far down the track Dad!!! Thanks for everything, and much love, your : ))
