My Life in a Blog

There is the time in a bottle. There are mementos in a capsule. There is my life in a blog. I wonder how long fff blogs would last. Memories that I do not wish to lose will last with my physical capabilities to do so if this site bogs down. Memories that I wish I could ignore will, however, last as long. It will take a while.

I am not here for the same reasons many people are. I am here to keep track of my life, to post entries that are only meaningful to myself primarily. And if readers can relate and realize things about themselves, then I am happy to be able to touch their lives. My blog is my sanctuary. It is a book in its own.

Tonight, Achilles made love to Mercedes, her knife on his neck. I watch the sunset over the shores of parked ships - ready to unboard soldiers. Absurd Blue Ray copy of Troy allows me to observe every minute detail, even the craters on Brad's handsome face on Phillips wide-screen tv. And he goes, why don't you chat?

I said, because I don't want to. Because I want to write. Because I am who I am in spite of an unfamiliar keyboard and big-screen monitor. And I will close my eyes during the hour when I would be weary of anticipation of my next waking moment.

What are you doing when you lose the most track of time? This is what you should spend the most time doing.

Thanks. I like being sentimental around here. It's like my diary. But unlike the diaries before, mine is an open book. So welcome!

The monitor screen has no complaints, it doesn't protest, it just sits there and stares at us silently even if we were already crying or pouring our heart out already in our blog. Funny how we are so comfortable showing our feelings in front of it instead to another human being. At least across miles and the oceans, we get to touch another person's soul through our writings. Keep on writing, sis, you are still a fave blogger of mine. Keep the smile too

You can stand under my umbrella

Thank you, sis. You are so sweet. I wish you'd blog around here again but I guess you have your reasons for not doing so. I am starting to encounter really mean people here. But I'm glad there are people like you around here. Take care of yourself always!
