Natural Highs A friend sent me a list of her natural highs to cheer me up. So I copied some of hers and added my own. 1. Falling in love. 2. Laughing so hard your face hurts. 3. A bubble bath. 4. No lines at the MRT. 5. A special glance. 6. Getting mail. 7. Taking a drive at night listening to soft music. 8. Hearing your favorite song on the radio. 9. Lying in bed listening to the rain outside. 10. Breastfeeding. 11. Chocolate. 12. My baby's giggle. 13. Giggling. 14. A good conversation. 15 The beach 16. Finding a thousand bill on the floor of a public bathroom 17. Laughing at yourself. 18. Looking into their eyes and knowing they Love you 19 Midnight phone calls that last for hours. 20. Lying on the grass at Luneta. 21. Laughing for absolutely no reason at all. 22. Having someone tell you that you're beautiful. 23. Laughing at an inside joke with FRIENDS 25. Accidentally overhearing someone say something nice about you. 26. Waking up and realizing you still have a few hours left to sleep. 27. Your first kiss (either the very first or with a new partner). 28. Making new friends or spending time with old ones. 29. Playing with a new puppy or kitten. 30. Having someone play with your hair. 31. Sweet dreams. 32. Backrub. 33. Road trips with friends. 34. Swinging on swings. 35. Making eye contact with a cute stranger. 36. Foot massage. 37. Having my cousin to call me up. 38 Holding hands with someone you care about. 39 Running into an old friend and realizing that some things (good or bad) never change. 40. Watching the _expression on someone's face as they open a much desired present from you. 41. Watching the sunrise. 42. Getting out of bed every morning and being grateful for another beautiful day. 43. Knowing that somebody misses you. 44. Getting a hug from someone you care about deeply. 45. Knowing you've done the right thing, no matter what other people think. 46. Teaching What are your natural highs? Enjoy! |

1-9 except for 10 because I've no idea how this feels. Perhaps you may want to share. 11 sometimes 12. babies giggling especially my godson, he's one of the cutest babies I have cared for. 13-15 16. Never found a big lump of money by accident. I'm not that lucky.  Found some changes and notes though.  17-35 Mind you a full eye contact makes me feel very uncomfortable when I don't know you. 36. Any massage is wonderful. A full body massage is the best. 37-46 I agree with nearly all of the list of natural highs. Simplicity is a beauty. To add, someone who will love you no matter what happens, no matter what you look like, whether you're very ill or very old with a lot of wrinkles. Taken from an old blog. The kindness of total stranger's thoughtful gestures warms my heart especially when I didn't ask for it and they want nothing in return but a simple word of gratitude. Those who show their appreciation in return for anything I do for them. Someone who really cares. Children makes me laugh a lot.  Good day TeachFamiliar smells, familiar faces, familiar places brings back memories of the past and the present.    within each one of us, and let it begin with me (and each one of us)..one breath at a time.

agreed with 99% of them...couldnt really relate to the breastfeeding one though...ill just have to take ur word on that one...LOL nice job , i enjoyed them

im stayng with just taking ur word for it..i just dont have the "tools" or equiptment i need to enjoy the breastfeeding thingy...LOL still love ur blog though  james

lol. u should try having your finger sucked by a baby. i do that with mine. it feels weird though. im glad you like my blog thanks for the new advice, sounds yucky...but im sure the baby loves it...LOL James
