Don't Lag, Don't Drag and Don't Nag..

I have recently been reading posts that have made me think back to my younger days when my beloved Mother was still living. ( My Mom passed away last year. The photo is of her and my older sister.) She was so occupied living her life that she really did not give out a lot of advice, but she did give me some advice as a young adult that I have kept in my mind.

1.) When in love never give all of yourself away. Always keep a part of yourself for yourself.

2.) Don't lag (behind), don't drag (your feet) and don't nag (complain).

What spoken words of advice has your Mother given you that you will never forget?

momma done told us kids that however evil the things or situations may become,we need to stay on the path of righteousness. steer clear from what you think is morally wrong, and set an example. that others might follow you, and one by one, the world will be a much better place for all of us.

"yes, ma."

i was too young at that time but her piercing words got stuck in my heart until now.

hmmm...these are just a few of them.

don't marry just because you have to.

age has nothing to do with respect, everybody deserves it.

stay away from people who drink excessively coz they always find themselves in trouble.
