imagine this

OK, Like I promised, here it is. Try to imagine this and do not say no way,, How can someone live like that? Alright, I was driving the other day. It was clear and the roads were dry. As I was driving I noticed a truck infront of me. As I got closer to the truck I noticed a black figure in the bed of the truck. As the light turned red and I pulled up beside the truck, I noticed the black figure was a female. How I know that, you ask. Well she was wearing her Saudi clothing. The females have to wear an ABAYA( a large black cloak), the females can not show any skin so that means also her hands. Also wearing a BOSHIYA( veil), that will cover her face and some you can just see there eyes. I was wondering what did this female do to make her husband mad? Well when I got next to the passenger side, I looked over and saw a SHEEP sitting in the seat, that is right a SHEEP has more rights than a female. I just do not understand it.But this is there custom. I hope I did not make anyone angry out there about what I saw.

i know how you feel, bro! yes, i think it's crazy that women are not given equal right there. they, too, have very strict laws that when one does a "not so major offense," he'll gonna regret it for life.

when i first got here in the US, i was so impressed to see the richness of ordinary homes. they all have these latest hi-tech appliances/electronic gadgets that only wealthy people in manila can afford. but what appalled me was the truth that while most people here have dogs and pamper and treat them as "babies" of the family and would even go to court to fight for the rights of their dogs, their elders are silently sobbing in nursing homes. they often reason out, "we have to make our own living... they will be well taken care of there." yes, they have to make a living....but...!!! i believe that these elders deserve to spend and enjoy the love of their families and the warmth of real homes than live in nicely painted lonely rooms and rely solely on the conditional care of paid caregivers.

well, my heart could not understand it but that's how most people do things here...i also hope i did not make anyone angry out there...lol

Virgo0969,sounds like you must work in a nursing home? I asked my interpretor about the outfit for the females and he told me..... " Females have small brains" and also " we are punishing them for EVE", but the younger generation is trying to get away from this. Also not all cities here are as sticked as the capital.Your comment did not anger me and hope no one else. Some children do not have time for there parents or just can not give them the proper care so they place them in the nursing home.
