The Strange Clock

You know, a clock is really a very strange thing. It spins and spins, round and round it goes, but it never gets anywhere. It just hangs there on the wall or attached to a wrist. It is always moving, it never stops or takes a break. Well not unless the battery runs out or the sping gets unsprung. Activity without purpose, except to keep time. Yet what is time but a measure of the shortness of this life.

Life to me seems that way sometimes. We go and go, but we have no real idea where we are going. We are full of activity, but to what ends? We need the exciting, the new and best, but even it will get old and wear out. We are ever seeking, but never finding. From birth to the grave we hurry to get, but why I ask?

Nice message.

I wish people can internalized good thoughts so they can do the proper actions needed. If things that people started doing, I am sure they can also make things to stop. If not, things will never end, if the one who started the confusion never wanting to cease their negative actions.

Most peoples' rift will never end, unless some people will apologize and accept to the majority here that everything that has been said is only due to frustrations, formed norms bare of truth, and are never real.

I have known a lot of people who are open to admit their guilt and faults, and this action never made them a lesser person.

Yes...the clock ticks...always moving on.... like our lives. We all move on. Never get stuck! or else, you suffer. Life is really short. Enjoy each moment of it, day by day...each passing day.

Hmmm... this post is very interesting.

bob, you're right. the clock spins and spins, round and round and it never gets anywhere. it may show us the time today, e.g 12noon, and 24 hours after, it will, again, give us the same time the next day. what we may have overlooked is that the 12noon tomorrow is not the same as 12noon today... 'coz like other commodities, time expires.

maybe we should try to slow down. life is too short. let's live it to the fullest. let's enjoy the beauty of nature, the love of our family, the gift of friendships, the smile of the people around us... or maybe just the gift of life itself. i guess we're just too busy that we sometimes fail to appreciate all these things which make life worth living.
