For M
You almost made me cry last night in my beautiful apple green gala dress (Oooppsss! Nyaha!). If you weren't standing there in your pretty cheongsam delivering your valedictory speech, I would have gone up to you to embrace you warmly and kiss you loudly so that everybody can see how much I LOVE YOU, M.

A few minutes before the induction program (of the JCIP-Puerto Princesa Peacock) started, you came up to me and told me you don't have a "valedictory speech." I panicked with you, you silly! Between both of us, we don't have this thing about not knowing what to say. I berated you for not coming to me so I could help you stitch a few words so you won't be anxious when you step on the podium. But you were smiling, and you told me you're okay because you have everything in your heart to say, and that there are only a few you'd like to thank.

When they called your name, I was nervous for you, M. Yet you exuded confidence so I just sat there quietly and whispered a little prayer for you for God to assure you that you'll do fine. And you did. You were absolutely brilliant like that January night this year when you accepted the position from me as the next president of our LOM Chapter.

You did well as president. You wouldn't be the Best of the Best of All Presidents in Area III if you aren't cut to be a leader.

Thank you for mentioning me in your speech, M. I didn't realize I would be one of the only three people you'll thank last night for helping you throughout your local organization presidency. You do have a sweet way of surprising me and flattering me. And I am sure, our friendship is the envy of everyone there

Most of all, I hate you but I LOVE YOU for giving me those flowers. You know I hate to be given flowers, but you do know too that you're the only one who can get away with it. I remember that day you were mad at me and I sent you three red roses so you'd already forgive me. Aha, are you holding that sweet gesture I did for you against me so I won't grumble and gripe when it's your turn to give me mine?

I'm very lucky to have someone as loyal and honest as you on my side. Life often brings us unpleasant surprises and events, but with you there, I feel there's always a lighthouse to guide me during moments I am indecisive and in doubt.

Cheesy, but there's never a bad weather when friends like you are around. I can always count on you and I hope you don’t refrain from counting on me too… Any time, day or night, I want you to know that I will be there for you.

 Warms the heart to read stories like that. Good friends are hard to come by. I love the lighthouse. some day I would love to live in one.

You are right M and I have gone through a lot... good times and bad times, and we stick together. I hope your wish to live inside a lighthouse comes true one day soon.
