it's not wrong to dream...

i was having dinner with my husband last sunday night when a respectable looking older guy approached our table, asked me if i wanted to be a model and handed me his business card. i almost choked! then, i suddenly felt like "this is it!"

just two weeks ago, i was asked to join 5 other ladies and 6 gentlemen at work to model in our "what one can and cannot wear at work" company fashion show. it was like the usual fashion show u see on tv. we had the red carpet covered runway, hairdressers, photographers and the almost 200 employees (plus management) as audience. since i was the only asian and the other girls being 3-4 inches taller than me, i thought i'd give my all to stand out. you had no idea how the compliments i got made me felt some inches taller.

i am skinny and i know i'm a little short to strut on the runway. but, hey, it was the small david who knocked goliath down

Well, hello AJ,

Thank you for stopping by my blog. May I invite you to visit my blog on bigchurch.com as well. I am listed as moonchaser1963.

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR BIG BIG BIG DAY! That is fantastic. Wow, you should put that on U tube. I can see why that event and your success would be of such wonderful gratification for you. Your blue dress/Christmas tree picture demonstrates why this attention is coming your way. Your beauty is more than a dress, hair, and a walk. AJ, You have a bright and beautiful smile. It demonstrates a heart for others and acceptance of others. It is disarming, engaging, and uplifting for its benefactors. You also love your Lord and Savior. It is evident in your radiance and joy. Non-Christians recognize this inner beauty. They may not know what it is, but they are drawn to it; that is the "aroma" of the Holy Spirit. This is your true charm and the source of your true beauty. Go ahead strut your stuff. Your Lord is showing you off to the world every day!

I am ok by the way. I am going through one of those chapters, one has in life, in which the road starts twisting wildly, with steep inclines and steep grades. I have lost two jobs in 5 months. My lease is up. I am in the middle of a move back to Idaho (tomorrow, monday with the movers). Seeking a new job. and a myriad of things that go with life. I't's not all bad. I have wanted to get back to Idaho for some time. I am ready for some change. The financial relief that will come allows me to be optimistic and excited about the future.

Thank you for your visit to my blog and your encouragement. You are most definitely a sweet heart and a blessing. I truly have enjoyed your blog over time and your friendliness. This isn't a good bye. I am putting my computer into storage. I do not have a laptop. So it is going to be harder to maintain contacts. I am also wanting to save some money for the time being. I wish I could link your blog to mine over on BigChurch, really.

AJ, May the Lord's blessings be with You and Yours!
Be safe and God Bless!

Dave,

Thank You For Your Time and Consideration ! Be Safe !! and, God Bless You and Yours !!! DAVE

Hebrews 10;24-25: And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works; Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one anothe: and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching.
