mirror... mirror on the wall...

if you'll see our house, one of the first thing that you will notice is the presence of nicely framed huge mirrors mounted on our walls. it is not just one, not two, not three, but a total of seven and they are distributed in the different rooms in the house. i have always liked mirrors (not on the ceiling though...lol). when friends ask me why, i could not give them a concrete answer. no, i'm not vain. i just like it.

well, to give you an update, everything has changed when i saw "what lies beneath" for the second time last weekend. what is the mirror's relevance to it? there are some scenes in the movie where michelle pfeiffer, the lead actress in the said pic, always sees the image of a missing/murdered woman every time she faces their bathroom mirror. (the woman's killer happened to be michelle's husband played by harrison ford). the image's not pretty though. it's the kind that will make you hide under the sheet. those scenes didn't affect me the first time but they got into me last weekend. and now they're haunting me. every time i had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, when all lights are off, i am so afraid to glance at the mirror. when i do, even my own reflection scares the hell out of me.

i am not sure if my husband will like it but i plan to put the bathroom mirror down. SOON.

Virgo,
Before you take the picure mirrors down, you might want to find and watch a positive movie about mirrors. Might be easier and erase the bad thoughts. Pray about it. Big mirrors give a room a greater sense of space and openness. Also, they redistribute the light in a room. My guess is that is what these were originally for. Dave

Thank You For Your Time and Consideration ! Be Safe !! and, God Bless You and Yours !!! DAVE

Hebrews 10;24-25: And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works; Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one anothe: and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching.
