i am a professional ... ...and so proud to be one! the ladies/grandmas at work (my co-workers/officemates) were the ones who introduced me to the business of "professional hooking." they have been persuading me to join them since i started working for Ford more than 2 months ago. honestly, i was not interested at all the first time. what i wanted to do that time was to do my job and waste no single second since i was just hired. besides, i don't want to do what these ladies were doing. but u know, they were very persistent. they would pursue me during office hours, even during coffee time and lunch break. how i wish i could tell them to give me a break! the "wooing" went on and on everyday to the point i could no longer take the pressures. to have my peace of mind back (coz they would not want to leave me alone), and out of respect and "pakikisama," i finally joined them 2 weeks ago. gosh, you had no idea how happy i made them that time. anyway, the training only lasted for almost 5 minutes. it was done behind closed door, right there in one of Ford's offices. one good thing about it is i didn't spend a single cent. (even up to now, everything i use and need is provided by them). i am more like an industrial member. well, i would say it's not difficult to learn the craft. one has to be willing and patient though. but what i found really surprising is that just a few minutes after i was introduced to it, i found myself enjoying it sooo much. oh yes, i am now one of the "certified professional hookers" at the biggest Ford dealership in the city. by the way, did i tell you yet that to be a "" is noble yet cheap? yes, everything you need is just a CROCHET HOOK, a ROLL of YARN and a PAIR of WILLING HANDS and you're rockin'! note: in the pic is my first project as a ""...lol. it is a kitty blanket and will be donated later to the humane society.
