it feels good... to be working again! after almost six months of job hunting (and almost a year of being out of the "work zone") i was finally hired as a staff accountant by a big Ford dealership in our city two weeks ago. it is just a part time job and there's a possibility that it might be a full time one but nobody knows as to when or if that will take place. but who cares? for someone like me who's from a 3rd world country, this is a big break...a one good step to get in the door. i have been waiting for this kind of job since i got here. it's not that i find blue collar jobs degrading or something to be ashamed of. as a matter of fact, blue collar workers (sometimes or most of the times) make more money than working professionals. it's just that i have always believed that a better job that matches my education and experience will come along in God's perfect time and that i just have to be patient. i am just soooo damn lucky that i am blessed with a husband who thinks the same way and who wholeheartedly supports me every step of the way. by the way, my monthly car amortization is due next week but i don't worry anymore. i am going to have my first pay check tomorrow.

Congrats! Welcome to the world of paying taxes. Just wait til you see how much they deduct...LOL
