In films, I appreciate the use of the Rashomon effect, how each observers produce substantially different but equally plausible accounts of an event. Rashomon is a film created by Kurusowa, where a crime was witnessed by four individuals and each of them described the crime in contradictory ways.

That says a lot about how different we all are from each other.

Cheers!

In my experience, concerning "the word",there are two works,of writ that have impressed me the most. One divinely revealed and the other, the most open-ended flood of raw human awareness, documented with the pen of,whole hearted arrogance.Compleately vomited obsession of that dark truth. The first;'The Noblr Qur'an.The latter;'The Selected Works of The Marque de Sade.niyyah2007

You sound like a friend here aka Crimsonsky06, another Akira Kurusowa fan. I've tried getting Akira's films but it's so expensive to buy.

This is something I wrote in the past blog 'Everyone have their own versions of a story and it's funny how each version can be distorted'.

I haven't read any books about Muslim faith. What is available online is the 'Dialogue between a Priest and a Dying Man - Marque de Sade'. Is this what you're referring to?

There are a realy good handful of muslim sites, free of stereotypical-propaganda.As far as the selected works of the Marque' de Sade, you may have to dig deeper. The older, the better."Justine" is a piece that comes to mind,in relation to a simple(if I dare say that)yet full and wide range thesis of vice vs. virtue.De Sade drew upon personal research to achieve his findings. He's been called the father of sado- masicism. However it's his writting style and almost "Encyclopedic-usage",of archaic English that is a treasure to be sure.I certainly do not adhere to his practices. Most of them,at least.Hahaha!(Sory,I'm a capricorn, and a work in progress.)Bye.niyyah2007
