they say smoking is a bad habit that's hard to break. why nga ba? i do believe that if one is determined enough to kick it off, he can successfully make it.

i'm sure, jane, this is one exciting thing to watch. you know, no matter how strict the implementation of the order is, there would still be a few who will play "pasaways."

I heard rumours from employees how they're trying to find a loophole in the rules stated in the health service policy. I think they're going to inside their cars and drive away out of the grounds for a few minutes to smoke.

This ban affects inside any premises in the UK.

Good for you sis. It's easier said than done.

In a way, people have been given enough time to adjust to the rule because it was publicised last year or so. It's being implemented soon. Good luck to everyone who will, as they say 'going cold turkey'.

It's certainly possible sis, I know some successful quitters for life. I don't know why it's hard to quit because I only ever tried and hated it, but I'm sure the tobacco companies know how they make it so addictive.

It's exciting for me and my friend too to see it happening for real and how good the ban will work.

I smoke and it makes me feel guilty. My mom can't be around smokers because of a bad heart condition. And my dad also smokes a lot around her. But my family being health unconscious does not realize this. I wish i could quit really soon though...

Some people don't even care so when you feel guilty, then at least you have conscience. Well, I'm kinda like your mom because I get chest pains and mild psoriasis. I suffer when the place is engulfed by smoke, have bad feelings/stress or when I'm eating junk foods.

Best wishes and good luck! I realise it's tough.
