Janey,

It's kinda uncanny that picture on the lower right corner looks like me or my daughter. Younger years when skinny. Age is scary. But, this gathering looks fun and happy. Love all those food in the menu and table. Heavenly!!!

[I God is pure love...

Uncanny resemblance ey?

I'll give you later an exclusive behind the pic explanations of who's who in the group gathering.

Have been missing some of the food listed in this stall alone. There were more of them.

Food is good, but I've to be careful not to make a habit of gluttony. Calories isn't something I worry about. Eating just gives me a reason to run around more like crazy and burn off the calories. Try to stick to eating small portions. I'd try anything until I find out what I don't like.

I found out my friend doesn't like dinuguan.
My bf doesn't like fish paste and ehhm I don't like balut.
They said I should try Penoy instead of balut.

Does anyone recognise who the dude is on the bottom right hand side photo performing with the mic?

Didn't have time to place a text in the pic to create his signature.

Clue: he's a babaero daw.

Mom likes this celeb.

6 siopao * 2 of each type for 2 Euros each= 24 Euros please.
Am I ripping you off or do you want to barter for a cheaper price?

Haven't had a crispy tight lumpia in years.
Mom makes fresh lumpia and leche flan quite often.
I make chubbier lumpia that looks more like Thai spring rolls.

Cigar shape
I didn't realise you can be very funny Mr. ICU.
Haven't heard this phrase before.
My bf's Canadian friend in college said the same thing about lumpia. Couldn't believe it when he said it. You can tell by what he looks like that he really loves his food.

Geez food is criminal.
Just sharing a parady of the song 'Smooth Criminal' by White Mystery.
No offence meant to anyone who happens to be obese.
Please don't smite me.

I appreciate food as much as any guy who they say that the way to his heart is his belly.

Man, You can't fit through the window
'Cause you eat like you're a hippo
I can tell that you're a fat man
By the fudge stains on the carpet
You were sitting at the table
You had eaten all the Ho-ho's
So you ran into the kitchen
Did you chow down?
It was junk food

Fatty, you okay? You okay? You okay, Fatty?

Fatty are you okay? Can we tell you, you should loose weight?
You can't fit through the window
'Cause you eat like you're a hippo fatty
I can tell that you're a fat man
By the fudge stains on the carpet
Then you ran into the kitchen
Did you chow down? It was junk food
Fatty, you okay? You okay? You okay fatty?

You've been hit by....
You've been struck by...
A Food Criminal

So you came into the cafe
It was Monday and a buffet
With meat you won't eat imitation
All the waiters loose their patience....[chow...chow...chow]

You hit the nail on the head Ms Luv.
That's indeed bagoong from Dagupan....a spicy one to accompany the kare-kare beside it.
Friend's friends were cooking all kinds of food since the weekend. Fattening us all up from lunch time onwards....ehhh we got to the point we were so bloated.
Was shocked at the amount of food they cooked.
Never been so spoilt by many people in one time.
Not just with the meals they cooked, but everything else that came with it such as their hospitableness.

Fiesta time.
My grandparents goes to many town fiestas until now in their 80's.

The last lumpia I made was a mix of stir-fry veggies with prawn, a little chicken and liver.

How do you make siopao?
Never made it. Only bought it.

No problem, I'll buy you Ate Jesty a big plateful brimming with siopao.

What sauce, if any, do you eat with it?

Since I'm nanay, I'll give you cakes.
In fact, I've half a large birthday cake with candles too left over for later to post in a blog.

Don't forget to do your push and sit ups later to burn off the calories. lol

For dessert today, I'd treated myself once to a light Argentinian biscuit called alfajores with a sweet Argentinian caramel leche. Small, milky and sweet.

If I don't stop thinking about food, I'll end up dreaming about it or hallucinating like Ms. Luv.

"Eat It" by Weird Al instead of 'Beat It' by Wacko

How come you're always such a fussy young man
Don't want no Captain Crunch, don't want no Raisin Bran
Well, don't you know that other kids are starving in Japan
So eat it, just eat it

Don't want to argue, I don't want to debate
Don't want to hear about what kind of food you hate
You won't get no dessert 'till you clean off your plate
So eat it

Don't you tell me you're full
Just eat it, eat it, eat it, eat it
Get yourself an egg and beat it
Have some more chicken, have some more pie
It doesn't matter if it's boiled or fried
Just eat it, eat it, just eat it, eat it
Just eat it, eat it, just eat it, eat it, ooh

Your table manners are some cryin' shame
You're playin' with your food, this ain't some kind of game
Now, if you starve to death, you'll just have yourself to blame
So eat it, just eat it

You better listen, better do what you're told
You haven't even touched your tuna casserole
You better chow down or it's gonna get cold
So eat it

I don't care if you're full
Just eat it, eat it, eat it, eat it
Open up your mouth and feed it
Have some more yoghurt, have some more spam
It doesn't matter if it's fresh or canned
Just eat it, eat it, eat it, eat it
Don't you make me repeat it
Have a banana, have a whole bunch
It doesn't matter what you had for lunch
Just eat it, eat it, eat it, eat it
Eat it, eat it, eat it, eat it

Eat it, eat it, eat it, eat it
If it's gettin' cold, reheat it
Have a big dinner, have a light snack
If you don't like it, you can't send it back
Just eat it, eat it, eat it, eat it
Get yourself an egg and beat it (oh lord
)

Gosh there's quite a bit about fish balls that I didn't know about.
Made of all kinds of sea food and can be dipped in 3 kinds of popular sauces.
So long ago since I seen it.

Sio=Hot
Pao=Bun
You can put different kinds of meat in siopao too.
I thought it was just pork.

ehehe Lei you're in time.
Unfortunately we've ran out of lumpia, the boys ate the most.
Nearly ate them all except for one. Nobody could bring themselves to eat the last 1.
Pictures must be quite big, it's slowing down your computer.

Crabs? What kinds of crabs?
