Life Is A Hurdle: And It's Never Easy


Human nature is such that we always want to be someone else who is richer, famous, successful, goodlooking, and all that. We forget that we have a life of our own and each one of us is unique. A few examples of wanting to copy others is buying the same dress at the same store, and yet, someone sure will come out doning the dress better. Another example is cooking the same dish, with the same ingredients, but by different persons. However, the taste won't be exactly the same. Why is that? ...It is because one has the passion, and the other just wanting to prepare a meal. Being envious of others is not the same as admiring them. We can never be the exact same persons as the rest. But, we can be a better version of ourselves, to the best of our abilities. The reason why we do not succeed sometimes, is because we are so pre-occupied and mindful of other people's business. In a few weeks, it will be New Year already. 2016 is just around the corner. And as a tradition, we have A New Year's resolution. I personally would like to make positive changes in my life. That is, to be healthier, to travel more, and prepare for early retirement, and maybe, pursue my dream of owning a small restaurant. I don't want to be someone else that I am not. This is ME, and I would like to LOVE ME more than before. I would like to respect other people more for who they really are and not judge them for their flaws, weakness, and shortcomings. For no one is perfect in this imperfect world. Why don't we live in harmony? It is not impossible, is it? Have a blessed Christmas and a Promising New Year Everyone!!

Elz, those are great goals. So do the zumba, come to Las Vegas and win the jackpot for your early retirement .

And yes we are individuals, unique in our own way. Let's not be like someone else. Nurture our potential and the enjoy the life as it is served to us. This is the wonderful life. Believe me, I am so advanced in years that I have learned a lot from my journey.
I'm a senior citizen . Don't expect me to remember anything

Hi Ka Bert! Actually, Zumba is not much of an exercise but more of a stress- reliever. And yes! I would love to return to Vegas every now and then, but I don't think I will ever win a jackpot in the casinos They are the biggest banks in the world, beacause people make good deposits each time.
